Count me as another person that got a Swift replica. And fairly happy about it, too. That's the only Sioux item I received, but I did give as gifts a Sioux long sleeved shirt, men's golf shirt, key chains (stocking stuffers) and cooler. I am my family's main source for all things UND. I guess I did buy myself a new TV, too.

I KNEW there was a reason I hadn't gotten rid of my extra sports package on digital cable yet. Sweet!

Okay. I am just curious, but where does all this "good ole boy" belief come from? I may not have been around UND long enough (13 years if you count both being an undergrad student and an employee), or maybe I am naive, but from what I can see, a lot of high profile positions have been filled recently by outsiders: President Kupchella VP and Provost Weisenstein Dean Potvin Dean Watson Dean LeBel Athletic Director Buning Those are just off the top of my head, there could be more I don't understand it at all, and I am not trying to be rude, or troll or flame or anything...I just am wondering where this comes from.

That ruled! And if the Sioux were the opposing team and the home rink played a similar video, I would have thought it was funny, too.

Kudos to the folks that worked so hard on making this weekend a reality! One suggestion I have for next year (and I think it should be done every year) is to contact the schools that have had successful ____-outs and find out what they felt made things successful. I still stand by my earlier posts that free t-shirts should be given out. Everyone loves a free t-shirt...and if you forgot to wear the right color, well, look at that, here's a shirt for you. It would take more work, but if you get enough sponsors (and make sure to put their names/logos on the back of the shirt) you can get those babies paid for pretty easily. On Friday night the band really stuck out with their white jerseys during the green out.

I have seen the renderings, and they are FABULOUS! Word is that tomorrow's Herald will have all of the info. Some amazing stuff for athletics, that's for sure.

For as many empty netters that have been scored on the Sioux, I would have loved to have seen one tonight.

I do admit it is usually other teams' fans, but I have seen some people say, "hey, the penalties were even, so how can you complain?" Hate that.

I know other teams' fans think that Sioux fans just b*tch about the officiating without good reason, but you have GOT to be kidding me

That, right there, is a sign of good parenting.

Somewhat off topic but somewhat on topic as well, I just hate it when people believe that if the number of penalties attributed to each team is even that equals good officiating. In any sport, not just hockey...
