I do have to thank RedFrog for the info on finding the game on the 'net, HOWEVER, the Sioux comeback occurred when I ran a quick errand and was listening in my car, so I ended up listening to the end of the game on the radio, just in case.

Wow. Although in some ways it is hard to be surprised... So is it 0-8 now?

How long until they pull Weslosky? EDIT: Huskies have to get it into the offensive zone, jeez

I may be wrong, but I didn't think DirecTV carried the Fighting Sioux Sports Network. I chose cable when I moved to make sure I could see my favorite team play hockey. With the $3 sports upgrade, I still got to see most of the FSN broadcasts of Sioux games as well (FSN-RM, etc.) That's the reason I stuck with cable.

My theory (with really nothing insider-related to base it on): there is a delay in paperwork, either admissions or NCAA. I know that at least on the admissions side, since he is from Quebec there are some extra requirements, like a TOEFL test and such.

I will be at the game, too! My friend won tickets and we will be on a charter bus (not Al's) that leaves Saturday morning. We are staying at the Holiday Inn as well, so the place will be overrun with green this weekend. No idea where the seats in the arena are, though.

It sounds like there are more personnel changes coming to the athletic department. I don't think I can say any more than this, but I would assume there will be more announced soon.

I am hoping Duluth gets swept...

I know quite a few people that attended the reception celebrating Signing Day on Wednesday night. The coaches of course talked about the signings, but also a little bit about the decommits. Tracy was an early commit and was eventually offered more money from SDSU. The coach that contacted Cavil after he verballed to UND...Bubba. Apparently Cavil was scheduled to visit Duluth but cancelled the visit, verballed to UND, and the rest is history. Just a couple tidbits during the off-season.

That must mean that last weekend went well.

I am sure more is coming, but here is a blog that says he is gone, too: Western College Hockey Blog

HONESTLY. If you have never been to a UND football recruitment weekend, please don't post about it. You don't know what is said, you don't know what the recruits see, you have no way of knowing what goes on. There are a lot of things I have never been to, and I don't post about them because I have nothing educated to say or anything of value to add to the conversation. I have been able to witness a UND football recruitment weekend and I can tell you with 100 percent certainty that the coaches did not tell any recruit that the retractable roof stadium will be built in the short term. It is something that is planned for when (and if) the football attendance outgrows the Alerus. Can this please end?

I posted this in the other thread, too, but I will be there both games. There will be two of us on Friday night, and about 13-15 on Saturday night. I don't know how much nightlife I will be doing Friday night, but Saturday the whole group (minus my friend's parents) will be on the loose downtown! Hopefully I will get to see some of you all.

I will be at the games, too! I am so excited! There will be two of us going on Friday night, and then a big crew of 13-15 on Saturday night. I am staying with friends (both UND grads). I am really looking forward to seeing a sea of green in the Alltel.

I was just going to post something similar...although you worded it better than I was going to.

I was at the reception for the second hour. I am sure a lot of people came during the beginning of the reception, but there was still a good turnout when I was there. It was nice seeing so many people come out to thank Coach Lennon for his huge impact on Sioux football and athletics. I also saw him tear up a couple times. Dan Hammer and his wife drove up to Grand Forks just for the reception. I visited a little with Chris and I was happy to have the chance to give Dale a hug goodbye and wish him well before he left. It sounds like he will be starting on the 2nd of January (or sometime close to that). I also don't think that SIU has done really any recruiting at all yet. Ooof! Note: When I first heard the news of his resignation I was pretty upset for about an hour, and then I realized that it is such an amazing opportunity for Coach that I couldn't help but be happy for him and his family. But I am a little biased. I have had the privilege of working with Coach Lennon and his staff for certain events the last six years, and I have way too much respect for him to write a disparaging comment, even under the cloak of an anonymous username.

That's the first thing I thought of when I saw that name!
