  1. Latest message from FOXN was that, although they haven't televised this game in the past, the decision would be made this week whether they would this year. Apparently FOXN is not since WDAZ is picking it up; hopefully FSSN will be at the normal frequency, or, they'll let all cable companies (MINE) that carry FSSN know ahead of time what that frequency is.
  2. Hope this is right, also. Keep us out in the hinterlands informed here, may have to take off Thursday to watch.
  3. While I agree the rule does not hurt the Sioux this year, but rather the CC/UAA winner, I'm PO'ed that I don't get to see the Sioux on TV Friday night. Way to go Badgers. On the positive side, as long as the Sioux take care of business on Friday, they will have more time off before championship game than their opponent also. It does create a most favorable position for the #1 team.
  4. Great third by the Sioux. Without some timely tackling by Tech this would have been over.
  5. Looked to me like the Tech player shot the puck from the left side right at Engelhart who was going to the net, and it deflected in off his shin pads. Don't think Brandt ever got a piece of it since the initial shot looked to be wide of the net.
  6. Brandt has been OK, he was, however, out sticking the Techie in front of the crease on the first goal when the point shot came from the opposite side; should have been squaring up to the shot rather than worrying about a player that was not in position to screen him. Anything said about the Sioux cross bar shot? TV guys mostly overlooked it and didn't pay attention but the overhead replay (only shown once) showed the puck in under the cross bar hitting the frame bar at the back of the net, before coming back out. Sioux didn't react, light didn't go on, and play continued; want to see it again, because I'm certain that shot was in the net. Not a good second for the Sioux, although they again got some good chances after Tech went up 3-1, just can't find the back of the net. Tech handling the forecheck much better tonight also than they did last night.
  7. You may want to check out the "tickets and events" forum at uscho: http://board.uscho.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=8
  8. Doesn't he check your recaps in the morning?
  9. The backwards scoreboard caused a lot of excitement around the league (gopherville) last night, as all sites had Tech winning 6-2.
  10. The 5 views are not for rewatch. If you want the archive, you'll have to cough up another 3.95, I believe.
  11. It does not; the All Sioux Sport package does.
  12. Any word as to whether the games this weekend will be on FSSN? No listing as yet on theralph site.

Tied with Greentree (UAF, first in the regular season) for second after four games: http://bchl.bc.ca/stats_hockey.cfm?leaguei...=1413&link=BCHL

    Fun With Numbers

Oh, no, forgot that stuff, and didn't scroll down far enough the first time. Now I am going insane, or at least I can see it out the window.

    Fun With Numbers

Shocked that two of the three are yellowdog
  16. Thought so too, but had to remind myself that Mason generally calls little, and in a cleanly played game, which it appeared to be, that comes out good. Adam may have called half a game's worth. Surprised that MTU didn't employ UAA tactics, and wrap and ride Sioux all around the arena. Mason certainly let all that go then, would be worth the chance, I would think, when you are totally outclassed.

    fan demands

Speaking of Conner, only noticed him twice last night: 1. 1 on 1 against Bina; stood up, lost the puck 2. 1 on 1 against Jones; stood up, lost the puck
  18. NCAA is #1, but because of the quality of the WCHA, the McNaughton is the toughest.
  19. The Hurl said the Cup would be presented tonight if the Sioux win, no matter what Duluth does. If it ends up being shared, Duluth will get it later.
  20. Looks like the Wild are selling out for draft picks. Dowd and Zholtok also gone. Guess they are going to try an all new team next year. Hope Roche gets out of Houston soon also.
  21. Definitely satellite (FSSN), but no directtv.
  22. Dahl's answer this moring to why SC has no luck in the NCAA's was, he got pi-r-squared. Maybe I missed the question and he was asked how to find the area of a face-off circle, but I don't think so
  23. Since all the student tickets, for the most part, were picked up prior to ticket master sales yesterday, I expect the REA to be rocking this weekend, as I watch on TV at home. Hope it's really noisy (appears it should be demanded )
