Video highlights of last night's game; Commodore levels Hatcher about half way through the clips:

Commie got even for the cheap elbow that Hatcher gave to Lombardi in period 1 last night. Didn't see the Commie hit myself, but from the Calgary web site:
A Red Wing gets a standing ovation at the Pengrowth Saddledome -- that would be Derian Hatcher who crumpled and exited following a hit from Flames d-man Mike Commodore. Earlier in the game he side-swiped Flames centreman Matthew Lombardi. Lombardi left the game in the first period but returned in good shape..... Miikka Kiprusoff was voted fan MVP with 64%, Martin Gelinas came in with 29%.
Nainamo finishes off GP for the Doyle Cup with a 5-2 win; winning four straight after losing game 1 in OT. Both teams will be in the Royal Bank Cup which begins on May 8 in Grande Prairie.
In other action, Nainamo defeated the Storm last night 3-0, to take a 3-1 series lead with game 5 tonight. In the game Nainamo captain Olson was given a match penalty for biting a Storm player in an altercation (Clements). Nainamo coaches are claiming that the bite was self-inflicted. Interesting.

Obviously we have someone with an agenda other than an appreciation for college hockey. May as well let this one die; CPB appears to be headed for banning from here anyway.
5' 10" - 160, a senior left wing, from Georgia. Fourth on the team in scoring, behind Duncan and Toews (and one other). Would assume he'll spend a year in juniors.

Grande Prairie wins the first, 3-2 in OT.
Strange Doyle Cup schedule, the first 2 games (or three, if the first two are split) are played at Grande Prairie, then all remaining games are played at Nanaimo.
Game one in the Doyle Cup.
Grande Prairie is up on Nanaimo 1-0 in the second period, on a PP goal by Radke. GP has just put two quick shots off the cross bar.
Kessel scores with 1:38 remaining; 3-2
USA scores with 13 seconds left, but goal disallowed; net was off (knocked off by Russians).
Russia wins gold 3-2

1-1 in the second.
US over Czechs 3-2 in the semis, Russia over Canada 5-2.
Czechs beat Canada earlier this morning, 3-2, in the bronze medal game.
Also odd he didn't get an assist on the GWG, as it was his shot that deflected and went in:
The Flames caught a break on Iginla's goal that snapped a 1-1 tie. A shot by defenseman Mike Commodore ricocheted in off Iginla and the skate of Canucks defender Mattias Ohlund, who was tied up in the crease with Flames forward Martin Gelinas.
