According to goph fans following the GF WJC, it was Badger defensmen that were the problem. There was, however, a certain Goph forward that refused to play anywhere but the US offensive end (course he hadn't picked his future college team at the time). As I remember he had (and still has) one move
Spehar had legs?
Must have been when the Sioux bench was on the gopher offensive side of the ice. That could be any of many goph forwards over the years.
Just received the sioux sports email and the link for the webcast sends you to the same old dataflix site. They will take your money for a season pass, but only old archived individual games are listed.
Some team sites list their games that will be on CSTV and ESPNU, and those games were picked up from there. Neither network has listed a complete schedule yet.
Got to believe if there is to be a webcast, the REA is looking at a new provider to serve it. The links to dataflix are gone from theralph site, and Sioux sports are gone from the dataflix site. Not much of anything available on dataflix, wonder if they have gone down the tubes.
Check out #8 on last year's womens' team, or check out the womens' soccer team.
Since she's from Calgary, might she be spending some time at the J. Smith residence in Edmonton?
CSTV is providing video streams to hockey games (schedule not yet listed). They have been streaming D2 football games, quality is very good, much better than dataflix of 2-3 years ago.
One correction, if you live in the FSN region (MN, Wisco, ND, SD), and have directtv or dish, FSN and it's alternate are your regional fox sports stations, and you do not need the sports pak to get them.
I watched the tourney 2 seasons ago on the Olympic ice. Sioux were home vs. Denver that weekend, probably the reason it was not in the main rink.
Looks like the Sioux are at Wisco this year, so likely in the main rink.
Chay centered Esposito and another name I can't remember at SSM. He looked very good at the position when SSM played at the REA. Lots of speed and a super playmaker. Not sure if he'll be a dman only for the Sioux, but he can certainly play a forward position well.
A good site for checking out college hockey games on TV this year. Not yet complete, but games will be added (CSTV, ESPNU) when schedules are complete.
