  1. Watched, but as usual, didn't listen too closely to Sweeney Thanks
  2. For those with ESPNNEWS, please post the results when you see them for those of us that don't get it. What time does this happen today?
  3. Should add that I was just guessing that the link would be the same today as it is for hockey, since no info on where to access the webcast was written in the press release. The hockey feed has been up 30 minutes+ prior to game start; looks like there is still no football available at that link, less than 5 minutes from game time.
  4. That has happened for hockey webcasts before the webcast is up. When it's up, you'll go directly to the webast without getting asked for the uname/password.
  5. Harvard shut out BC earlier this week.
  6. mms://134.129.176.246/hockey Copy and paste that into the "open url" box in windows media player. If it's limited to 100 as hockey has been, get on early or you'll miss getting a spot. Hockey has been free thus far, I see the press release says "football for a nominal fee", but can't see anywhere for a link or pay for information. Didn't know of anyone trying to watch the UMD webcast, so I'm not sure if the info is accurate or not. At any rate, if nothing else shows up on the offical UND site, I'd try the link above.
  7. or "Fertile couple killed near Climax"
  8. No surprises in Brad's blog. Nice interview with LaPoint in the same blog.
  9. Rehab assignment to Lowell.
  10. Try here and here.

Proof that fingers on keyboards still work after the mind is gone I'm suffering from post ducktober depression
  12. The only Sioux frosh listed at D is Genoway, and he's played forward most of the time so far this year. Genoway spent a year in the BCHL after graduating from SSM. Although several Sioux D are sophs and still young, it would have been tough to crack the lineup this year. As well as he is doing in the USHL, however, LaPoint may have made it into the lineup, at least for some of the games. His year in the USHL next year will only make him better when he starts school next year.
  13. Adam is the most consistent of WCHA referees; unfortunately that is consistently clueless
  14. For those of us without center ice, NJ vs Carolina will be on Versus on Tuesday night.
  15. didn't look to me that he'd lost an edge, simply dragged down, negating a good scoring chance; can't say that i've seen similar called penalty shots in the past, however. Oshie no goal or Toews no goal? Nothing compared to the Adam show with the Mcgregor no goal changed to a goal after Scottie complained changed back to a no goal when Lucia went Gwoz'. Guess it shows which coach had more power over the most incompetent referee in college hockey.
  16. If it were only written as comedy (rw's verbosities, that is) Sounded like from your recap Goepfert was expecting the penalty shot (and looking forward to it). Wish Mason would have obliged.
  17. Question of the night; is rw talking to himself when he posts 2 or 3 times consecutively all last night and again today
  18. She's been brainwashed (not a bad thing )
  19. Could have been called since Porter was going to be in alone, but I don't remember it being called very often in similar circumstances. No matter how many times you see it replayed, however, every Sioux fan is going to want a penalty shot, while every Huskie fan is just hoping it's not called. The unfortunate call was the quick whistle with the puck 3 feet out in front of Goepfert, the whistle sounded just before Genoway shot the puck into the net. The Toews non-goal, probably right, but inconclusive in the replay, although you could certainly see Toews kick the puck, you just couldn't tell if he touched the puck again with his stick or not. He did put his stick in there where the puck had to be sliding next to Goepfert's pad, and may well have made contact with it. Toews is the only one with any chance of knowing for sure, none of us looking at the replay, including Mason, has a clue.
  20. The puck was 3 feet out in front of Goepfert when Mason blew the whistle. Bad position, or unlucky position anyway.
  21. Sioux D will have to figure out how to defend the pass before next weekend.
  22. THe anemic SC offense is certainly ripping through the Sioux D
  23. Neither, radio or streamed audio only.
  24. Two tickets for Sat here. Looks like quite a few available on the rea ticket exchange.
