So far, since both the US and Canada will have primarily NHL players that aren't in the SC playoffs (or, for the US, players that just signed, EJ and JJ). More players will be added from teams that lose in the first round. Wonder if his chances of playing for Canada are better if he signs with Chicago than if he doesn't?

Judging from the tone of the Sioux site, and the ads that said free until ...., I'd guess that this will become pay for, as soon as they've deciding the webcasting bugs have been worked out (not a repeat of the dataflix fiasco). Since it seemed to stream well during the offered freebees, I'd guess we can expect a charge by next fall. The SiouxXtra site still reads "coming soon", and is listed a subscription service.

The trap Sioux have, at times, played a 1-2-2 with a lead in the third period (just one forechecker), another low risk, d first strategy. They don't often do it well, as teams used to an aggressive forecheck have a tough time turning passive, and very often end up getting scored on. I believe they used it successfully, however, several times in the second half this year, when they had a third period lead.

Several good eligible forwards, I'd bet on Alexei Cherepanov, Russia's next Ovechkin/Malkin.
