The FCS (A, C, and P) regionals show no college hockey all weekend, except a semifinal replay on Sunday of the Final Five at the X.

I can't believe FSN is not picking up the regionals beginning to end the way the have done in the past. What's up with that?

Since the games in all regionals are staggered, FSN and other Fox Sport regionals have shown all regionals beginning to end. The only thing that gets in the way area a scheduled pro sports broadcast (NBA or NHL). So, although the Wild have eliminated a live Sioux/Mich broadcast on FSN, I would think you could find the game, if you have dish or directtv with the sports pak, on other FS regionals. I'd check FOXD first, since the do many Mich games, or do the have a Red Wing or Pistons game scheduled? Anything also out east (NESN?).

The FCS digital cable stations have typically picked up hockey every weekend from the WCHA and CCHA. Currently they don't have any college hockey listed for this weekend. Hope that will change.

The extra noise alone as gopher fans yelled at each Sioux hit caused Shep to call a couple on the Sioux, while not enough loud complaining when the gophers did something, made a difference. A crowd can affect the calls more than anything else.

True, but the third and fourth lines looked like they wanted to be the DOT line, they need to get back to dump, chase, and forecheck, like they had during the whole second half until last night. The Gophers seemed to dominate much of the game, but it actually was dominance against the last 2 Sioux lines that made it appear that way. The first two lines played well, except that Toews, Oshie, Duncan and Porter spent way too much time killing penalties.

True, if the Maine team that came west last fall shows up, they could be in the FF. Hard to understand why they've been so poor lately in the east.

If SCSU is going to make a frozen four, they better do it this year. Worked out for them losing their way to a 2 seed. West region looks to be better than the frozen four will be. I could see Notre Dame easily in the FF from that region. The NCAA winner should come from the West.

I find it hard to believe that Mich would not be put at the Mich site. I'd also be surprised, however, if the 3 WCHA teams got separate regions, I think two will be in the same place.

Sioux's third and fourth lines have spent almost all of three periods in their own end. Too bad the puck at the end went off Kaip's shaft, if he gets his blade on it, the game was over. Funny calling Toews Oshie wasn't enough, Mozzo started calling Okposo Oshie also
