Definitely thought it was but the top and front view tell a different story. The only way that was in was if it came through the top of the net after going in, and it went up through the net. The overhead looks like a goal, but what side of the net is the puck on (below it or above it) I think it's above it. And it really doesn't make any difference.

Problems from the beginning of the year: 1. Find a Nelson replacement on the top line, revolving door all year 2. Parks injured for much of the first half, no RPM line available 3. Mitch comes in in Jan, and the coaches decide to try and recover the brother's BCHL magic (no RPM line, no set first line, very little magic) 3. Rocco is everywhere except the top line, took way too long imo to try him as the Nelson replacement 4. Mix and match the top 2 lines still ongoing, better get there tonight 5. Laid back lack of effort (can't fathom how this has happened frequently, maybe due to line jumbling), but effort should be there (and often was, just not consistently) anyway.

I obviously had he and MarkMac confused from their freshman year. In that case, not sure why he is in the lineup. In which case I would like to see the line from last year back together, and Rocco inserted on the first line. Mitch/Mark has worked occasionally, but not consistent enough to stick with imo

OD was very good as a freshman; top freshman scorer if I remember right, and when he, Parks, and Rowney (was it Rowney?) were together last year, they were great. Was OD one of the missing, injured forwards at the end last year? Don't remember? But this year he hasn't looked at all like the freshmen OD. Seems to have lost the speed, skill, and aggressiveness he had last year. Would agree someone else has to take his place, as he hasn't found his game on any line.

Tech used a lot of energy last night. Sioux rested for most of the game. Sioux should be the fresher team tonight. Where are the Sioux forwards in the ND end? Where is the short pass breakout? The only chance the D has is to rush the puck out themselves. Can't say I've ever seen a ND team play this way (much like the Friday game vs. St. Cloud)

If the WCHA doesn't, Pierson needs to do it; What a total melt down.

You scared me with that combo referee. Certainly don't want any two of them in the same body.But I don't think this pair will overlook obvious holding (like shep jr and anderson). May be practice this week, but I'd bet they want the extra beef on the blue line playing a big extra physical team.

I get a kick out of Mariucci, who continues to post here all day every day, obviously thinking that he/she will straighten us all out and get us to believe the Gopher propaganda. Good luck with that, he's/she's wasting his/her own time, not to mention his/her own work time, and/or that of his/her employer.

That does explain it, and the satellite TV providers are expensive, but my local cable co is more expensive, with less channels that I want. Midco appears to be better than that, but I could certainly understand that, to get what I want, I may have to pay as much as I pay to Dish

I would be interested in the answer to that as well. I've looked over midco's packages online, and it looks like a way better deal than the cable co where I live. I continue to pay dish in western ND because of the poor local cable TV offerings, but have thought I'd drop dish and get midco if I ever moved somewhere that has midco.

I'm emailing as well, Red, even though I don't hold out much hope at it being added. We will eventually be moving out of this oil country, and there's a chance it will be to a midco area, in which case I'll get Sioux hockey once again.

The satellite "guides" are often wrong, or don't show until the next guide update, often the same day of the game. My dish guide did not show the Thursday afteroon "class b hs basketball" tournament on local NBC last week, and when it was finally added, it showed "ND highschool hockey". So I'd expect you'll find Sat. night on 626, in spite of what the guide shows today.
