  2. The dish sportpak is specially priced at 5.50 x 6 months. Now get midco added to it and we're good.
  3. Most of us understood your question was asked and answered with one post. Then southpaw again started the sh*!storm over TV, etc.
  4. Could be a commercial for ROOT, which has a couple Griz games on this year and about 4 Bobcat games. Directtv owns the ROOT networks, so it could have been a commercial for dtv.
  5. There are schools out there (Montana, Montana State for instance) that care enough for their out of region alumni so that they changed directly from fta coverage to max media allowing their TV coverage to be available nationally, without a year or years of interruption. It would be nice if we could watch rather than hoping that dish/directv buy the midcosportsnet next year, or several years down the road, if at all. Possibly Montana football has a better national brand than UND, but I don't buy that. Maxmedia owns 7 TV stations in Montana, and could have chosen, like midco, to show it on just those stations while they try to sell their sports network nationally, but they did not. And I don't know whether the two schools negotiated this or maxmedia did it on their own. If you had left your first post and not returned with southpaw to go on the preemptive attack I would not have posted in this thread. You guys chose to rehash what's been posted a thousand times, so have fun in yet another thread.
  6. And you and southpaw continually insist of re-opening this can of worms, attacking whenever someone has a TV/web stream question. Why must you respond at all? People who can't get hockey on TV are upset, that's not unexpected. In regard to the web stream, in the past refunds have been quickly given when the stream just didn't work for a user. Hope it works well this year, but I think we're protected and can opt out for refund if the increased traffic turns the stream bad.
  7. For "goods and services", or "paying by credit card", the charge is 2.9% + 30 cents.
  8. BTN is not even available to anyone outside the BTN footprint, except by paying for it. I'll buy the multi-sports pak from dish for HE and other games, but could care less if they include BTN in the package. So fans of SEC football are going to pay to get BTN so they can watch MN and tOSU play hockey. What a crock.
  9. The HD stream on Big Sky was much better than the SD version for the Valpo game, but seeing that debacle in HD was not that special. I'm afraid to looks again for the next couple weeks, fortunately it's free, not a product on the field I'd feel good about paying for; The UND lines on both sides of the ball are so outclassed by these teams it isn't even funny. I'm on board trying these guys with a new HC, and seeing if they are better than they now appear.
  10. This sounds like a good suggestion in spite of the impatient post that followed.
  11. Take a knee 3 times or it won't happen. UND is who we thought they might be
  12. This is so easy the Griz fans look bored.
  13. South Dakota high school game streaming on midco/big sky right now. Hope the Sioux game is in HD as well.
  14. Good grief
  15. Maybe a used system from a Sioux fan.
  16. http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/B005EVBO0A http://www.wag.com/d...r-medium-812453 http://allstardogs.com/Pages/Schools/NORTHDAKOTA.html There are other sites that will embroider whatever print you want on the collar; not sure if you could get one with the old Sioux logo
  17. Didn't know that happened in paypal, but then I've always paid directly through my checking account bank routing and account numbers. Would guess you're right in that paypal is taking the credit card transaction fee (is that 4%) out of the transaction. I hope my payment came through in full without the fee. Let me know if it didn't.
  18. This would not happen over and over again if a couple posters (not you Jayson) insist on arguing that we FTA'ers don't know what we are talking about.
  19. You sir, are clueless when it comes to FTA. I can't even tell you the large numbers of fans on this site who have pm'ed me concerning FTA over the years, how many have installed systems, and how many more were interested, at least up to the time the Sioux got on FCS. As others have posted, those with systems are just a small part of the many that watched at establishements with FTA. With FCS now being the dinosaur for hockey, you'll see the youknowwhat hit the fan when the hockey season starts, unless midco can get on one of the satellite services. The stream better by extremely good, or this whole mess will stink. While I realize you are a U spokesman and therefore supportive of what the U has done with sports coverage, making comments like FTA a dinosaur it a bit much.
  20. Was that choice of word a product of the recent discussion
  21. The same conversation will probably happen, probably from other fans. What I'd expect is you'll be here to argue about anything, including this, for more than the next 5 years. And if you don't believe FTA reaches many new Sioux fans, how about potential recruits (and their parents), for all sports, outside the midco coverage area.
  22. And you know this how? What exactly do you know of FTA and the number of users around the western hemisphere finding UND games?
  23. They were, and those I could get in HD have been good this year. Last night's stream was 4:3 SD (at least what I could get), and was dark and dingy, very poor if connected and enlarged on a big screen.
  24. Did you get the Big Sky stream in HD? I did not, even though I checked volleyball from the Betty a week ago and it was in HD.

    SDSU at UND

Bonehead play, they had a chance, will they keep trying to pass?
