Are Miami home games still shown on any regional sports network in Ohio. I know they used to be available from satellite on the Ohio News Network. They quit uplinking a few years back and I see they totally shut down summer of 2012.

Thanks, and btw, neulion will not respond to my question concerning their server speed tests being so much slower than all other speed test sites from all over North America (speedtest.net, as well as megapath).
-
Thanks, that's good news. Will we see the stream by logging in to our insider account on undsports.com, or do we have to go to Miami's site? Edit: no need to answer, I see it's already listed in the schedule in the UND player. Thanks

So, since Miami streams with neulion, will undinsiders get to watch the Miami stream on Saturday night, for no extra charge?

Jayson, In one of your future meetings with neulion, could you ask them a question they refuse to answer when contacting their support. Why do some of us have problems with buffering/skipping, why do we have to jump through so many hoops (empty cache, different browser, flash settings, etc) to get the stream to work (sometimes good, sometime marginally), when, what appears to be the same stream, with probably the same setup (except it's for football). streams so perfectly through america one, without the problems and hoops. (whoops: maybe that's more than one question?) BTW, fyi, I've run the two speed tests suggested by neulion support and got the following info: Megapath (all Mbps): 6.57 down, 0.67 up (from LA server, other servers around the country vary from 6.5 to nearly 9 Mbps) Neulion east: 4.13 down, 0.66 up (neulions west, south, and north vary from just over 3 to just under 5, always) I've tried several others that neulion did not suggest, and they all come very close to the megapath numbers, or even faster (7-9 mbps). Only the neulion test show a significant drop-off from all other speed tests. It is obvious the huge drop in speeds are, for me, coming from neulion servers. I cannot match those slower speeds with any other test.

My wife has an ipad around here somewhere, she uses it, I don't. Maybe when the ipad ap is available I'll get antsy to get apple tv. Wish I could try before I buy. Oh well; sounds like a good setup.

That would be one less to feed, and haul in you car

It's neulion, the short term cost is 10.95/month (no listed 24 hour pass). Would guess you have to cancel it after a month if you don't want to be auto charged for the second month. Looks like they canl buy just the hockey access, for less than the full year of all sports streamed. http://www.muredhawk...DB_OEM_ID=26100

Thanks, there's almost no Miami hockey listed on the live events section of the web site. Can you give us a link to where this is? Can't see it listed in the live events when you open the player: http://www.muredhawk...DB_OEM_ID=26100

Bringing in 30 for Thanksgiving series. Do you have a big trunk?. May as well feed us as well before the game
-
Didn't know it was once offered.

Miami uses neulion but the webcast for Saturday is not shown on Miami's site. Maybe it will show up. Or maybe webcasts are part of the CBSPorts/NCHC double header weekend blacking out everything for both nights? Someone around here understands that mess of a contract better than I.

I see the sec digital network was recently added to samsung smarttv and other samsung devices (bluray player). Haven't found my way around the whole thing but it looks somewhat similar to undinsider in that some things are free, some are subscriptions (live video of games, on demand, etc). Looks like a login in required to view games, which I suspect is paying for the games to your favorite school (again link undinsider). Is UND looking at adding an app to the samsung ap lineup (or anywhere else, ie rokkku, ps3). Not sure who pays to get added, the provider of the school?

Last night I realized he wasn't invisible. The camera showed him close-up in the box.

I believe you pay to get unlimited at "no cost". Except, I think he mentions having verizon, which, as far as I know, has no unlimited data plans, while the cost to up the MB to what would be required to stream HD games is astronomical. Would guess that once you pay, it's "free". Seems Sprint has better deals with smartphones and unlimited data, but it's area where you are not roaming is fairly limited, and the price is still high for my tastes.

We are, and it doesn't quite match the gpl consensus agreement among Gopher fans; like everything else, you guys make stuff up to suit your own beliefs, then spew it all over message boards, as if it's the truth.

OK, here's a reason; all streams, even those in HD, work perfectly for me. Even neulion streams from other colleges (Miami being one) work perfectly for me. It is only this neulion/und/midco stream that has problems. Period. You tell me it's on my end; I'm telling you it's somewhere in the neulion/und/midco combo that has the problem. With that said, it was better tonight. 1 total lockup (not rebuffering) late in the first when Rocco was going to the net with seconds left. One lockup during the first intermission; none after that. I asked neulion why this combination has problems when no others do. Their answer, they don't support america one. Hey, there, dumbasses, I don't need america one support. Their streams always work.
-
Damn, D is demoralized. Really needed the O to score TDs rather than field goals, and finally, the TOs.
-
This has been by far the best defensive game this year, including Valpo and last week's game.
-
Neulions support answer; I'm the only one, it's my problem. OK, I give up. Each of us that reports this to neulion is told we're the only one complaining. So be it. They continue to ignore my repeated request as to why america one works perfectly and neulion stream does not; same network, same PC's. Guess they can't answer that. Jayson assured us in a post that it isn't the increased traffic on neulion with the added Sioux fans logging on, so what is it?
-
I believe that as well. They have billions and billions of miles to go to be a professional regional network that even approaches the fox regionals. On the other had, the big sky network on america one runs midco's football broadcasts without problems, in HD.
-
Seems obvious under Don Adams tutelage the "make s*@! up as you go" method of refereeing has not been lost in going from WCHA to NCHC, but rather is spreading rapidly.
-
Is there a reason that for some/apparently not all, buffering occurs randomly and in bunches? For all those having these problems, streams work perfectly on america one and even on neulion for other team's streamed events. Somehow the neulion/UND/midco combo has some problems that don't occur anywhere else

My mistake, thought apple was apple.
