  1. they might be able to as Midco is now the cable company in Bemidji (use to be Charter) Paul Bunyan (the Telco) is also there for cable
  2. um one part is wrong
  3. highly unlikely since the PBS studio is close to the arena. They probably have fibre or microwave setup
  4. The Minneapolis DMA (TV Market) is HUGE. Runs from Iowa to (almost) Canada. Bemidji PBS is on Dish and Directv in the Minneapolis DMA on channel 22. So even though at least 2/3rd of the DMA cannot see Lakeland PBS OTA they have a huge market because they got on satellite that goes to Minneapolis
  5. Lakeland newscast announcing it (go about 2:00 into the newscast) http://www.lptv.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=35&Itemid=97&show=3&newscast=1002
  6. dang I was close in the prediction
  7. well there is good and bad out of it bad: All games will be broadcast on Lakeland Plus, while BSU
  8. Both the Final 5 and the Frozen 4 are at the X this year so I'm confused which tickets they got...I think they mean NCAA Frozen Four
  9. Montana home games start at 1:00 local (Mountain) before Nov 1 and noon after that...remember the clocks get turned back the last week of October Washington-Grizzly field does not have lights
  10. I havent had Dish for 2 years...canceled them after too many issues Got D* in February for the MLB Network (which rocks) and the NASCAR in car stuff and the Twins in HD Still have Shaw too for hockey night in Canada and the CFL and the free to air
  11. I agree...
  12. I checked those 2 channels (617 & 623) and they just have the Directv logo and music in the background. So they are still up
  13. interesting that they decide to be 3 MHz off an existing (and up 24/7) transponder that is at 12050...this might not be good (just sayin)
  14. they are RSN Alt channels so on online guides they may not show....very rarely to be exact since the programming changes all the time..Since right now FCS has nothing "live" it just says "TBA" on D* But they do show in the guide on Directv
  15. uh why dont you give the correct info.....instead of exaggerating. If they used the FULL transponder the symbol rate would be between 26400 (like FSN uses) and 30000 (like Big10 uses) which compared to the paltry 4880 the FSSN uses is dramatically different. The FSSN uses a symbol rate of 4880 which is 1/6 of a full transponder. So on that same transponder there may be more than one feed. And 50 channels on Directv? Try 11 or 12 tops.....better than what Gloebcast crams on there I always love the "almost HD" comment some folks say...while its good it isnt HD....if some folks actually saw a unbasterdized HD feed you'd wet yourself
  16. yes they will be there. I still show 617 & 623 in my D* guide There was an article about a week ago posted here about the 3 year agreement between the FSSN & FCS so I doubt that would be dropped
  17. yes it still there 617 & 623 are channel numbers You need to sports pack to view the games that will be shown on there
  18. The Miami Ohio games were not just on ONN. There was a raw feed out there too. ONN dropped satellite because of money...they went fibre and IP network
  19. why wouldn't it be? FCS is just contracted to show the games that are produced by the FSSN. How do you think THEY get the games? (yep...satellite)
  20. Riders game on NFL Network on Saturday
  21. what a awesome game to start the year! But I guess in Riderville they forget that 12 + 1 does not equal 12 Hilites from cfl.ca (longer than the TSN link) http://www.cfl.ca/video/index/id/12125
  22. take out the UMTC games where they had 1200 and UMD only had 300-500 at a lot of games
  23. NDSU already had the microwave/fibre setup for the NBC Network so there is no expense there A microwave feed from the dome to the studio isnt that expensive
  24. checking the LPB website Friday nights they have real programming until 11:30 (news at 10, bbc news at 10:30 and PBS news at 11) but could tape delay them at 11:30.. Saturday nights are usually rerun night so if they tape delay them show them at say 10:00...no issues if they show them live
  25. maybe sprinkle some "big" games against say MN and UND on the main channel live like WDAZ does.
