  1. interesting...they probably made it free again. Hope their server has enough room for all the Sioux fans
  2. GCI is the main cable company in Alaska.. All UAA home games (and most road games..) are broadcast on GCI cable Channel 1 Why it says tape delay is anyone's guess. I know in Alaska the games are live across the state except for Anchorage where they are tape delayed. Original press releases said this was on FSSN via the UAA feed The webcast costs money now if you are not a GCI customer
  3. bummer. He always made the Riders games fun to watch Get well Weston!
  4. The Coolsat meters can be a little wacky.... 93 on the one meter (newer) is the same as probably the 79 I get on the old meter (82 max)... bottom line you have a great strong signal
  5. Weston might have screwed up his ankle Near the end of the game, he jumped up to catch a pass and landed very awkwardly on his right ankle. With the turf being frozen he was down before being helped off the field. Hopefully tests tomorrow are good
  6. I show it tied
  7. 74 quality here on the CS5000 62 on the azbox not good for the D* Folks
  8. you have to probably move the dish a little bit. Since you mentioned the same issue yesterday that is probably what I'm thinking. Is it a fixed dish?
  9. huh...must be your receivers because I havent ever seen an issue like that with blind scan. You must have a bad receiver as freq on a blind scan is off by maybe 2 Mhz If he has a 40 quality the signal is there but his dish probably got nudged a little off the arc.
  10. sounds like the dish has possibly moved a little bit 40 quality is pretty low for a Fortec...in fact on most that is the threshold
  11. hockey feed is up
  12. FTA feed is up
  13. Couple thoughts on some oddball things...obviously to please FCS -the banner along the stands is a nice touch (the University of North Dakota one) -the ads along the sidelines. Looks just like a CFL game
  14. FSSN-UND is what it logs as
  15. FSSN feed up nice strong signal
  16. I was more responding to krangodance who said the 617 channel is regional when it isnt. The folks I got responses to from satelliteguys.us were from Pennsylvania, Iowa, California & New Mexico and one from Minnesota
  17. few folks told me 617 is K-State/Iowa State game
  18. wrong! The FCS channel on DirecTV 617 is NOT regional. It's one station that shows any live event that is not already covered by another regional sports network. Again, the original concept of FCS is 3 channels that show college/high school sports from the various regional sports networks and market it as a cable exclusive option. They cherry picked programming that was already available on the multi-sports pack that Dish & Direct carry. So instead of cable carrying 25-30 RSN"s and having alot of blackouts, they carried the FCS package. Last year FCS started getting "FCS exclusive" items that were not available on the other RSN's....they are labeled in the corner (the bug) as "FCS Exclusive". Directv got smart and cut a deal to be allowed to show the live games that are FCS exclusives and not available anywhere else. They can only carry live games I'm confused by the working but lemme explain it better. I posted this back a page or so ago to show the difference. The bolded items are FCS exclusives and are not on another regional sports network on satellite Here are examples of this weeks games on FCS noon eastern...Sacred Heart at Central Conn. St on FCS Atlantic. The originating station is the NEC TV network. On satellite its on MSG+ 3:00 Eastern...Kansas St & Iowa St on FCS Central only 3:30 Eastern...New Mexico & Texas Tech on FCS Pacific...on pretty much any FSN that doesnt have something else on 5:00 Eastern...Sioux game on FCS Atlantic. From the FSSN 7:00 Eastern...Kent ST vs. Baylor on FCS Pacific....on satellite on FSN SW 7:00 Eastern..Southern Illinois at Western Illinois on FCS Central...satellite folks will see on FSN Midwest
  19. iceberg

    TV coverage

it is pretty funny considering the guy running the NDSU media thing (Jeremy Jorgenson) did the same thing at Montana.....and they have all their games on state wide TV and satellite (free to air) for the alumni for a while now and he was part of that
  20. hope its on then Few years ago the coachs show use to be on Friday nights before the hockey game
  21. Dish doesnt carry FCS so unless they put it on one of the alt channels (444-479) it wont be on. If you have a PVR/DVR unit you should be able to scroll to Saturday as they have a 9 day guide in them. Scroll through and see. The receiver I have here only goes out two days
  22. exactly Dave 617 or not at all btw: what does the guide say? I know at my moms yesterday the guide only went to 1AM Saturday when I was there
  23. Directv has ONE (one) FCS channel that will show games that are not already available on the other 25 RSN's Here are examples of this weeks games on FCS noon eastern...Sacred Heart at Central Conn. Baylor on FCS Pacific....on satellite on FSN SW 7:00 Eastern..Southern Illinois at Western Illinois on FCS Central...satellite folks will see on FSN Midwest so the only games not on a satellite multisports channel is the Sioux game and Kansas St...hopefully DirecTV gets it right and shows the Sioux as the K-State/Iowa ST game is ONLY on FCS
  24. the games are only going to be on that FCS channel (617) if they show the game. Again if there are more than one option who knows what they'll pick It wont be on any other regional sports channel
  25. yep thats the truth! I get confused on "digital starter" which is pretty much analog cable + the couple extra stations. I know that use to be called something else on there
