  1. I'm not misleading anyone. You must be confused. The cable companies and satco's are the ones who need the signal. We are just observers. If we have an issue with a weaker signal all we can do is complain on the board. If a cable company or FCS has an issue then the FSSN would listen because they are using optimum equipment. As I mentioned before they are probably using a 1.2m or greater dish. (probably 6 footer) If we were the intended audience then all the sports feeds would be in the clear and at great signals...and we all know how that's working out this year
  2. unless you're a cable company or FCS calling betcha they wont do anything.
  3. I posted this in an other thread and I'll post it again...you can take it for what its worth (I know 2 people won't because they think they know more) 36" dish worked fine the whole game....50 quality with few drops to 45 on the GeoSatPro (35 is threshold) on the 6 footer with KU LNB on it a nice solid 65-67 on the Pansat1500 (30 is threshold)
  4. sorry I had old info....I guess it is Classic Rock now KCNN/1590 and K300BG/107.9 have changed format to "Rock 107.9", playing a classic rock format
  5. you can try the FM dial...looks like they added a translator station there (I assume you're in GF?) NORTH DAKOTA/MINNESOTA: "Fox Sports 1590" translator K300BG/107.9 (Grand Forks) has signed on. The translator uses 250 Watts from the KWTL/1370 tower southwest of town, relaying Leighton Enterprises' KCNN/1590 (East Grand Forks). (11/1/2010)
  6. on Directv 617 Friday night 623 Saturday afternoon (fb game at noon) 625 Saturday night the guide finally updated tonight
  7. oh that was the feed for the Wild and they had the wrestling on there from Tartan high school in Oakdale...it was just the KSTC45 feed for northern MN to get the WIld games
  8. it was weird tonight. Game locked at 67 on Coolsat...bumped west and 73 but the Wild feed that was on there too went in the crapper. MOst other feeds worked fine I ended up using the 6 footer again 80 on the GeosatPro and 77 on Coolsat (92 is max on Coolsat)
  9. info bolded is what you put in once you get the transponder logged in (12065 V 4880) so a manual scan or channel scan. It will bring in the channel
  10. yes that is 91W The "normal" transponder that we use ot aim dishes (12050 V 13354) is off the air right now so we have to resort to other But yes you are on 91W
  11. like I say its working fine here in SW suburbs...30" dish
  12. same as they have been the last few games G17 91W 12065 V 4880
  13. decent signal tonight 70 on Coolsat 5000 (63 threshold) and 30" dish...the vb game was at 66 65-70 on GeosatPro 200 (25 threshold) and 6 foot dish
  14. the game is for the FSSN There are 2 "FCS" feeds out there...617 & 623. The issue is Saturday they have a cfb on 617 at 4:00. I havent checked 623 yet but those alt channles they schedule football games for like 4 1/2 hours on them Directv has like 10 "RSN Alt" channels that they can use. There is no rule that says it must be on a specific channel. Oh and 625 is not a Big 10 Alt channel....those are 609, 611,612,615 edit: there is no 625 on Directv and the cfb game on 617 is scheduled for 2:30-7:00 so they could use 617 if they wanted to
  15. yep do what others have said...add the sports pack The only FSSN produced game so far that hasnt been on is the volleyball game. The 2 Alaska games were not on because it wasnt the FSSN producing the game so at the beginning of the year Sweeney said over 40 games on the FSSN and so far we have had on 617 2 womens hockey games 3 football games (2 on FSSN 1 on Altitude) 2 hockey games (the exhibition and last weeks Friday debacle via CBS College)
  16. They'll be in 480i widescreen on the MN channel only folks who will have it in HD are ones who have the KAWE/KAWB HD feed available (OTA or cable in Bemidji/Brainerd)
  17. yeah DIsh Network has that advantage...there is a D* receiver (H20 receiver/HR20 DVR) that has the digital tuner in it..the rest require a AM21
  18. Only the HD receivers can do that. Directv has a separate tuner (AM21) that attaches to the Directv receiver If you have a newer TV it probably has a digital tuner in it
  19. Sensers has Directv so I assume they have KAWB 22 available to them
  20. most places in Northern MN use KAWE/KAWB as the PBS station so you should be able to see it
  21. MN network channels it will be on....these are the over the air broadcasts for folks with an antenna Minnesota * KTCA (2.2) St. Paul/Minneapolis * WDSE (8.4) Duluth / WRPT (31.4) Hibbing * KAWE (9.6) Bemidji / KAWB (22.6) Brainerd * KWCM-TV (10.3) Appleton / KSMN (20.3) Worthington * KSMQ-TV (15.4) Austin/Rochester North Dakota (Prairie Public Television) * KBME-TV (3.3) Bismarck * KWSE (4.3) Williston * KSRE (6.3) Minot * KDSE (9.3) Dickinson * KGFE (2.3) Grand Forks * KFME (13.3) Fargo * KCGE (16.3) Crookston, MN / Grand Forks * KJRE (19.3) Ellendale * KMDE (25.3) Devils Lake The game is also on for satellite folks (both dish and direct) in the Minneapolis market (if your locals are from Minneapolis) on 22 (KAWB PBS Brainerd/Bemidji) at 7:30/7:00 and replayed at midnight. Cable folks you may or may not have access to KAWB (Northern MN will) or the MN channel. Check listings on zap2it or titantv
  22. yeah I forgot here in the cities they are on 202 in the Comcast/Former Time Warner area its free with any package and a converter box...and since Comcast is switching everything above 23 to digital you'll need it anyways
  23. check 22. It will be on there and tape delayed at midnight
  24. are you sure its 17? I know 22 is carrying it but 17 is for the antenna folks 2.3 (TPTLife) so that may not be right (my locals are from Duluth...I get Mpls channels OTA)
