AZSIOUX replied to revolutionz's topic in Men's Hockey
i hear ya...thats a flat out bummer especially when you are nice enough to front the money when people said they were in for sure! sorry to hear about the turnout -
who knows on bozak. i agree its not easy but i guess we will see. the regional is at mariucci but i get what your saying
-
i think i have DU beating them if i remember right. they are very hot right now. no doubt. i just think if they get DU again with bozak back it could go the other way. just a hunch and that being said im sure rooting for umd in that regional as a fan, the beavers in theirs, air force in theirs with lamoureux and of course the sioux

per brad http://www.areavoices.com/undhockey/ CC's Connelly signs Colorado College defenseman Brian Connelly is the third underclassman to leave early this offseason. Connelly, a junior, has signed with the Chicago Blackhawks. Connelly had three goals and 24 assists for 27 points last season. He was the third-leading scorer for the Tigers. I believe Connelly is Colorado College's first early departure since defenseman Brian Salcido in 2006. Salcido signed a free-agent deal with Anaheim. He made his NHL debut this season, playing in two games for the Ducks. Early departures in the WCHA (3) Alaska-Anchorage (1) Paul Crowder, jr, forward Colorado College (1) Brian Connelly, jr, defenseman MSU-Mankato (1) Trevor Bruess, jr, forward

ive never coached and dont pretend to know much when it comes to X's and O's but man do they do a lot of passing from D to D at the blueline, over and over and over instead of setting up down low. like i said i dont know much abiut that stuff as i stopped playing hockey when i moved to az but it seems like thats a problem. earlier in the year i noticed more movement overall and we can stop trying to get duncan that shot from the corner.side as everyone and thier mom knows thats what they are trying to do. whoever runs the pp knows this has to change this weekend if they want any shot of getting out of this regional. score 3 and we will keep moving on

SIOUX Recruits - 2008-09 Updates, Monitoring Their Junior League Play
AZSIOUX replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
of course college is the best time in many players/peoples lives, no doubt different situation and who says in a year or 2 porter doesnt play on a 3rd or 4th line every night? we have no clue what st louis thinks about him overall. porter was a late round pick who became a free agent as he knew the blackhawks didnt have room for him so he went where he would have a nice shot. its only his 2nd year this year in ahl and has played a few games. most all players not drafted first couple rounds if that wont see the nhl until a year or 2 after in the ahl. VV is a 4th rd pick and edmonton has value in him as a bigger center who can flat out win draws and play very solid all around. the 2 players are way different in many ways. if edmonton feels they want him in their system to see what they have in VV then he will go as the ahl is a hell of a step up from the wcha and mid round picks like him are what the ahl is full of. some make it and some dont but edmonton may want to find that out sooner than later -
and i have the upset of the tourney picked as well - fear the mighty BEAVERS

duncan goes off for 3 points vs UNH and puts the sioux into a remtach from earlier this season vs BU...duncs wants that last piece of hardware he and the team are missing!

toews wont be leaving...i bet we only lose vv -
you never know on the HD but you could be correct, also we do get the best announcers by far. melrose did a hell of a job with pang and gary thorne in 05-06 frozen 4
-
im pretty sure most sioux fans know UNH is the task at hand but its just natural to take a look at the future possibilities and plus we can look as far as we want we arent the ones out there on skates go sioux - play fighting sioux hockey and whoop some east coast azz
