WOW HOLY $%^ so sweet for bemidji state, what a wierd year for ncaa hockey and this tourney. the most crazy year ever for top seeds just getting dumped. bsu can beat miami! if i go its time to break out the gary sargent bsu jersey!

zach was the 17th overall pick. very high pick. nj has a franchise player no doubt! that was a solid draft overall, you arent gona hit on every draft pick of course but many solid nhlers in this top 20 group http://hockeydb.com/ihdb/draft/nhl2003e.html

maybe some did but most franchises who draft a player as high as new jersey did expects that player to be a top line guy. the other stuff is icing on the cake but most people involved in the nhl world i ever talked to or players in college/scouts knew zach would be a top line player as many teams had him very high on their draft boards that year

im not sure who you talked to or heard that but zach was a big time prospect high 1st rd draft pick and was primed to bve a star before he ever stepped foot at UND. duncan is a non drafted player with lack of size/speed for the nhl. he will have a very nice hockey career wherever he plays but zach was a sure star from his days at shattuck to und to new jersey. big difference between the 2 and not comparable in that sense at all

not panzer, grebe, sejna ect.... fast. nope. duncan can skate and hes a hell of a smart player. just saying thats a key to the new nhl at that size. he may end up playing some nhl games in his career and he may not. i wish duncs nothing but the best!

yes thats true but panzer tried before the nhl changed their rules and style overall so he would have had a much better chance now with his speed

i highly doubt any sioux fan or hockey fan that has seen ryan play over the 4 years would underestimate him playing hockey but its calling it like it is and speed is a huge reason the smaller players make it in the nhl.

i wasnt and panzer may have gotten a better shot if it was but panzer could fly along with sejna and others in that mold. thats what duncan is missing from his all around solid game

sweet and that other one wasnt dirty. thats the problem imo is that if you get leveled legally and clean then you get targeted. keep your head up if you dont want to get hit. if tj didnt get injured he would be a prime candidate for roy

duncan will be a ahl player or overseas player imo, man it was fun watching him for 4 years. what a hell of a player and he will be missed!! see ya MR HOBEY BAKER! duncs was a hgreat college hockey player and the new nhl is more favorable to the smaller players now but imo you need gerbe speed to be out there as an example. duncs may get a shot someday in the show, who knows but whatever he does he will be great

i dont think bsu having success in this tourney has anything to do with getting into the wcha imo. all wcha coaches/programs know they can already play in the wcha and compete. they have proved that and its simply about having a extra team and or getting a 12th team in but of course even their win or if they win again today wont hurt their cause as i see your point hell, bsu already has more ncaa wins than scsu with their win yesterday. we all know they can be a team that battles in the middle of the wcha right off the bat

osh is having a hell of a week. another goal today so far

congrats to these seniors for their 4 years of hard work and lots of success overall. would have loved to see them get that title but it just didnt happen. this was a gigantic freshman class when they all came in 4 years ago and the class dwindled year by year with the top draft picks signing but this group was a main reason they battled and won that macnaughton. best of luck to all in whatever they end up doing if its hockey or other ventures. that was a hell of a loss to take yesterday, wow. all i can say is go beavers now.......... great season sioux, ide rather lose 6-1 than lose like that as a fan. GO SIOUX
