  1. It would seem that your memory is spot on.
  2. Yes. It gives me whiplash in my eyeballs.
  3. Holy cow, you just gave me flashbacks of Bill Clinton.
  4. Thanks guys for the reminder. I'll just say this about 24: obviously not the next Cale Makar, but it was refreshing to see a capable defensive-defenseman on the third d-pair.
  5. Upgrading NCHC.tv productions from, say, Omaha, CC, Miami, and Duluth is HOPEFULLY A HIGH PRIORITY FOR THE NEW NCHC COMMISSIONER AND YES I'M USING ALL CAPS BECAUSE I'M TIRED OF PAYING FOR A SHODDY VIDEO FEED SYNCED TO A RADIO BROADCAST WITH A FRICKIN' CHUNK OF BAILING WIRE. <exhales> sorry everyone, just needed to get that off my chest.
  6. Thanks for this, Dave. Facts are rather helpful to my brain-fogged memory hole. Seriously.
  7. 24 may have saved a goal with a blocked shot on Saturday night. He looks to have a place and a role on this team moving forward, and I really hope he stays. Granted, he's -8 in only 11 games played this season. But IMO he passes the eye test much more so than 4. Why hasn't 24 played more regularly? Did he have an injury to start the season that I'm forgetting? I just have to think there's a reason. The coaches see these guys every day, and Berry and co. know a bajillion times more about hockey than I do.
  8. Glad that @Goon got home from Park River before the next blizzard!
  9. It’s crazy how good goaltending can make a coach look like a genius, whereas poor goaltending can make a coach look like a…a…like a guy who’s not gonna coach here much longer.
  10. No, not according to the best info I've found. The coaches fully expected him to arrive on campus in the summer/fall of 2021. Even had equipment with his name on it.
  11. A successful program can do both things: develop freshman talent and use the portal (not often but strategically).
  12. We need to get Park River trending on Twitter. <checks phone, no Twitter>
  13. Goaltending and defense might take some time to round into shape, but UND should have a terrific group of forwards to build around.
  14. IIRC, UND's number of regulation wins at home against ranked teams this season: zero. Please correct me if I'm in error.
  15. This. IMO, we have to be willing to take some lumps as we develop talent.
  16. Now that would be ballsy.
  17. And in the contest that everyone really cares about, UND looks to be a lock for 59th place in team save percentage, which currently sits at .880%. But could a string of strong goaltending performances see UND moving past Dartmouth (.884%) for 58th place? Could a few terrible outings result in UND dropping below Princeton (.877%) for 60th place, or even below Air Force (.875%) for 61st (i.e., last) place? What will happen? Where will UND end up? Only time will tell, so stay tuned!
  18. You're right. I guess I meant that in a more limited role, that line could be an effective line.
  19. In that role--as a shutdown 4th line--Senden, Hain, and Jammer would be terrific, IMO.
  20. If anyone happens to be driving through PR (Park River) this weekend, please confirm that @Goonis enjoying his vacation!
  21. I was thinking more about next year.

    Playoffs

I believe UND has 30 points. The NCHC site is currently incorrect.
  23. This team will not win any tournament of significance with #4 on the roster.
  24. Agree this is super puzzling. Especially now that Karl is on the coaching staff. But even aside from Karl, it's my understanding that every competitive hockey team needs at least one, and preferably two, competent goalies. How is our goalie pipeline essentially non-existent?
