  1. How I truly wish that would of been the case.
  2. Youngstown St @ 12:00 Sat. Great weather for tailgating. Seats available, come to ticket window prior to the game, enjoy!
  3. Would agree that the reasons mentioned in your first paragraph help the 5.25 yards, but would be respectable in any manner. Keeping in mind that Bubba is the HC. I think these non straight forward plays of Danny's are more so for the smart, more talented, and experienced players, we are getting closer. Maybe Danny is smart enough to realize we will be bit a few times, but this is really our best chance for the W. The NDSU game was not as close as comments on here seem to make it. NDSU defense was the true winner in that game. Entz realized/knew their defense could control us even with the fake relax pause touchdown. Therefor he played an ultra conservative game on offense. He didn't want the crowd to take over the game, especially with turnovers. Yes we're frustrated, tomorrow will show how bad we want a W.
  4. Our group will be there. UND should play a very good game - at home against another team short of wins. UND 41-13.
  5. Could very well be. UND doesn't pay rent for games at the Alerus ?
  6. UND athletic department pays rent to The Ralph as a lease is in place ? Is this getting confusing ?
  7. Sioux Shop ? https://siouxshop.com/store/search.asp?keyword=outerwear Supporting UND Athletics "The Sioux Shop’s profits are reinvested back into the athletics enterprise to help support the development of UND’s Athletic programs and student-athletes."
  8. Bubba is likeable, seems like the public pretty much agrees with that - at least up to now. Maybe it be best to continue that? A smooth slide into the AD office, or Alumni office, or something likeable is well over due. The reason for the slide is to keep cohesion in the FB program along with someone from the present coaching staff given the reigns. There is a pretty good collection of players, coaches, and support staff on this team. I believe this thread is named appropriately "Future of the UND Football Program" verses "Fire #$&&@" - just couldn't say it. This slide should keep the program together verses having an exodus of players and coaches. Otherwise it could be a few years setback. You know this team will be good next year, we'll get the W's with the .500 teams. NEED a GENERAL for the TOUGH BATTLES, lets start this this winter.
  9. What's the purpose? The house need click bait? Moderators crave trolls? Shut her down.
  10. He knows how to lower the empty cup to his feet.
  11. Completely eliminate OT next year. OT was not made for hockey, just never rightfully fit in. Even turn the clocks backwards like they used to be. The scoreboard clock in the Barn counted up from 0:00 to 20:00. After a goal, Vojtech BustedJaw the scorekeeper would just look up and see how far they were into the period, and write the time down. The reason it is important to know when things happen in a hockey game is because of the way penalties work. In football, it’s 5, 10, or 15 yards, in basketball it’s free shots. In hockey penalties are 2:00 or 5:00 (Misconducts are 10), maybe even a booth, sometimes a free shot on the goalie. You can look at a box score and see that Honza Toothless got 2 minutes for roughing (by referee Ladislav Step&aHalf) at 11:21 into the first. Then you can see that the next thing to happen was Jacques TripleLipp put in a goal at 13:23. You know that Jacques put in the goal just as Honza was coming out of the box. You could tell that if Jacques had put it in 3 seconds sooner it would have been a power play goal; or at the same 3 seconds sooner a short handed goal if opponent Pavel OneNut put in a one timer from Matej SharpTooth on goalie Hynek BlinkEye.
  12. Agree with the not healthy, regularly - but will add. Is hiring/holding onto coaches, an AD problem only or is it handicapped by the agreement between The Ralph and the U? It'll take at least till 2030: To have equal food at the dinner table. For the AD to create a fair professional relationship with all coaches. Today the coaches (AD included) understand The Ralph pays itself first. Some not so healthy formulas on that train for the U overall. A few of the past P's tried to change some of the original agreements, but the best they could do is ruff up some feathers with The Ralph - soon bye bye. Awful lot of money flows into The Palace.
  13. It wasn't that long ago https://forum.siouxsports.com/topic/24560-big-sky-conference-quadrumvirate-2016-7/
  14. True, we didn't score enough but we probably didn't need 30. Always hard to say what would of, could of?
  15. The trickery in the long run seems to trick us more. The complex offense plays seem to confuse us more often than their defense. Clock management and quick snaps at appropriate times are not in our playbook. At times the offense, defense, and special teams shows uncertainty instead poised with confidence. Bubba also has this disease on the side lines. This team & coaches don't have a killer instinct. I'm not talking about winning by 50, but by still having that energy and drive of accomplishment at the end of close games to getter done.
  16. NDSU got on the bus to get to the Hawks' Nest to get the W and got it with 16
  17. I agree. Deer Gun opener always has a drop off in attendance. Denver is one of biggest draws. Noon is too early this late in year, which hurts tailgating to a degree especially when not a top team in the conference. This is an extremely nice fall weather wise. I'm going to FB and 2 MIH games this weekend. Work around the hunting. Did feed the deer at noon today, was going to do it Tuesday last week before heading to Smashville, but things didn't work out with CS. Picked up some beet tailings at CS and pumpkins from a Pumpkin Patch in Sioux Country this morning.
  18. Tragic accident, my brother talked to Jason earlier in the day.
  19. We did play pretty good in the game a week prior to yesterday. We were bound to slip in one of these destination games. Huge fan let down, but ... Look forward to watching the Hawks trying to get the Pioneer sweep on Saturday!
