The 3 student sections 241-212 hold about 2175 seats. They have been sold out for the 3 homes games this year so far, in fact additional students purchased tickets for $5. And many more students show up for tailgating and don't go to the game.

Your 1st. sentence, with Notre Dame home team televises the games. With us the BTN could televise at The Ralph also. I don't consider the attendance at their U's an issue at this point for us (certainly for them), what would be important is how many fans are willing to to watch the UND games if on BTN? This could work, we would even have a lot of our own fans contribute to the viewing numbers by watching the home games at the B1G6 teams. We have a lot of faithful fans in MN, Wis, Iowa.

Maybe that's been the stalemate all along, if there are to be negotiations, time is in our favor, we're not bleeding.

I know we're starting to derail this thread, so I'll make it short. The 7 teams that play B1G hockey now might like to see the games on the BTN when their team would play at The Ralph. That would be a sizable viewing audience adding in other teams and UND fans, allowing for some concessions to UND.

Maybe, and we know that Notre Dame doesn't get any BTN money. They have their own home games televised. But a BTN share could work for UND and the B1Ghockey teams.

Or, we could accept defeat, no blame needed, and support the Fighting Hawks! This game is over for most. Now, this weekend at The Ralph vs the goofs, some will show their support for the Sioux name/logos. Maybe the most support shown during any games this season. I still say the Sioux supporters and the Fighting Hawks supporters get to see their team bring out the brooms right after game two!

Heard about the retirement yesterday, age being the main factor here. Leaving under a lot of challenges taken care of or put to sleep. Also in the talk, Faison was not in favor of us with the B1Ghockey after Notre Dame joined, maybe because he was so instrumental in the developing the NCHC. What would of happened then if there were talks and Kennedy was part of the equation? Now, if no other teams in the B1G want to start hockey, this could be energised by the MNs and Wisconsins, and then the B1G contacts UND? Kennedy might like it, without having Faison along side of him saying no way? MN craves the rivalry games with UND, & vise versa. The 2 games in MN last year were a home run for MN. Agree, FB has and MBB will have let down this year, but both will be back along with MH continuing success.

About 1750 tickets remain for Saturday. Assuming the 3 sections of student tickets and visiting team tickets sell, as they are blanked out.

This season will be over when the clock runs out on Saturday Nov 11th around 4:00 PM. Most teams in the country will have at least one more game left, and potential recruits coming to that game.

The Rivalry had a little let up when the B1Ghockey started, because we didn't play the goofs. In this series, either team can win on any day. Especially now that we are playing them more often again. Last year stung a little, especially since the other MN schools were pretty much having their way with the goofs the last few years. The crowd at The Ralph for these 2 games will be a playoff crowd.

Apparently the injuries are not stopping. 7 games down / 4 to go. One would think, there has to be some kind of a common denominator here, outside of bad luck? Injuries pretty much happen to every FB team, but not to this magnitude. I know there has been all kinds of studies on injuries and how they happen, but could it be a mental thing? Could a team be more prone to injury with some player's depressions? Little lack of concentration, stress?

Some end of the-string Freshman QB got his shirt pulled after their regular season was over to play us at the Hawk's Nest.

Whats the post game injury report, did we or did we not finally turn this train around?
