  1. Cost of drug testing everyone and often is probably not in our budget. Let's go one step down the line. Correct me if I'm wrong, from what I understand is that the NCAA does random testing of the 24 FB FCS playoff teams. If players don't pass the test, they sit our for a year. The two teams that were in the NC game had quit a few players that might have not passed. Seemed that it was kept pretty secret. Why doesn't this like make bigger news? Image, two best teams in the country, and the game goes on like little to nothing much has happened except that those players not passing don't dress. Shouldn't there be more publicity over this?
  2. That is just getting to be too much. I can't ever remember a UND team this injury riddled. What a promising year this was supposed to be. I guess we try finish the season respectable, build on some great athletes, and hope for a healthy start next year. In the mean time, I will go to the last two home games, pay attention to the last two road games, and continue to follow and support the team thru to next season.
  3. Isn't he too small and slow for this weekend?
  4. Our group was talking about the ice conditions, and that was probably intentional on their part? How much leeway may the home rink have when making ice?
  5. Was good to see Hunt play well, we need so much of this. Now, hopefully we get some injured players back for Montana and improve some more.
  6. The Bizon have played their cupcakes, now the games will tell the story. They could loose at home or on the road., I don't think running the table is in the picture.
  7. And a part that puzzles me is how do campuses in states like Colorado deal with it. Do the students go to like bowl games every weekend, all school year? How clean is that FB team from NC that we just played? Then there are some that will point fingers at out tailgating with all the alcohol? Well the FB players get randomly tested, right?
  8. We didn't even have such an event when I was in school. I remember when it started in the parking lot of Memorial Stadium, had Bison fans with at one one time, and they said they didn't have tailgating, they taught it was pretty neat. I walked into the student tailgating on Saturday to visit a group. From what I could see, they were all having a blast. It was really crowded, hard to walk through, more so than last game. And, like I mentioned in a different post yesterday, a lot of these fans didn't go to the game. Big potential here.
  9. Well? They've played 4 cupcakes and E Wash. SDSU beat them last year in Fargo. SD beat them the year before in Fargo. Are the SD's better this year than in their recent past? Maybe, SD seems like it is. Both could beat the Bizon here shortly, they have so in the last two years. Youngstown St and Northern Iowa are still in the picture? We'll see how it plays out, lot of ball left?
  10. Pretty good save. Some used the term hot goalie, during the game posts. Recognition deserved.
  11. UNC win is nothing big around the conference, but if we would lost this one??? Things would of got real ugly by now.
  12. I could see them beating the Bizon in Vermillion.
  13. Deep breathes, in through the nose, out through the mouth.
  14. Unbelievable, and soooo acting like not a troll. A troll that has a different definition of what the word troll means. A troll that thinks (knows all the facts), it's the smartest F'awking FB poster on this board. Give me a break. All the Bizon talk of next man up, and our injuries excuses don't count, bla bla bla, and you use an injury as an excuse, and one that could of happened right after the game. STICK WITH THE FACTS, Bizon lost, get lost.
  15. The student section was not expanded for this Northern Colorado game. Maybe would of been better to continue that for a game or two yet, don't know the reasoning for cutting it back. Student Section: Traditionally sections 214 213 212 Yesterday sections 214 213 212 Prior game sections 214 213 212 and sections 211 210 218 we're blanked out week of game. They still sold additional tickets to students for $5 after the free student tickets were all given away. Maybe there was a limit on the $5 tickets? Lots of students tailgating that didn't go in. Just seems to bother me to see all these students (maybe some non-student fans also) go to tailgating and just before the game starts, walk by the main entrance and continuing on walking towards campus. If the house was sold out, not an issue, but it's not. Also, the Hawk's Nest has lot of standing room tickets available, maybe more than most stadiums in the conference. For the price of just $5, and your already there, don't get it?
  16. We did break 10,000 and considering all that's been happening this year, I'll call that a good turn out. We're already getting close to 10G for the Sacramento State game, and with this NC win, we could do better at attendance than we did yesterday.
  17. And the year before that, they beat the Bizon at the dome. Play there again Nov. 11, and the Bizon could slip again.
  18. Students showed up, the 3 student sections tickets were taken and bought additional tickets. That's a good start, now have to get them to stay, that will come with winning. Again there we tons of students that were at tail gating that walked away just prior to the game. The day will come when the public buys up the seats, in the Hawk's Nest outside of the student sections, and the students will be wishing they could get tickets.
  19. I sit in section 215, next to the student sections, Didn't seem they did too bad. Some go on the catwalks. Place was pretty empty the last two minutes, but to me it didn't seem like students left any earlier than other fans? Now engaged! They could use some pointers, but there getting better. Winning more games will help. This win was a savior for this thread!
