I grew up and obtained my undergrad in SEC territory. Baseball is a 12 month sport down there and second to football in popularity. It's awesome to be playing Alabma so close.
I think Sioux Falls would be a great central location for the Frozen Faceoff, but amount of local interest would be questionable.
Just hope they do not move it to Pepsi Center or something.
I might be the only college baseball fan in Grand Forks and excited for the season. Great start to, but baseball is a marathon not a sprint. However, It would be nice to take 2 out of 3.
I thought one of the major aspects of marketing was to promote a product, no matter how good or bad it may seem. Seems marketing should have really increased during the lean years.
I would certainly recommend Rhombus Guys, after all what kid does not enjoy pizza? Other family options include Blue Moose, Spicy Pie, and Wild Hog.
Breakfast, hands down Darcy's Cafe!
My wife and I were having a conversation about the difference in sports marketing between NDSU & UND. It just seems NDSU i so much better at promotions. Just heard on the radio about a fan bus to Sioux Falls for the Summit League Tournament. Yet, there has been no mention of a bus to the Target Center for the NCHC playoffs. NDSU used to do caravans across the region to promote it's athletic programs. Also Fargo is painted basically painted green and yellow during homecoming, yet in Grand Forks it seems just another day.
