Whoever wins the job should be put in a really good spot to succeed. The OL will be a strength of this team, with 2 very good RBs behind them. No Bo will hurt, but I’m hoping a couple of the transfers receivers turn out. I thought Hoskins looked good at the spring wrap up. I think we will also see solid seasons out of Dennis and Deng.

Like Tom said in his article yesterday, this season is really hard to predict. Questions at QB and a new look defense could make some of these games go in a lot of different directions. Although I think our defense will have their struggles, I don’t think they can be worse than last year. Will take a couple of years to rebuild this defense IMO. Similar thoughts at QB. Simon had some ok games, but I think JTJ or Kaminsky at the very least is a step above the production we got at that position last year.

Not surprised and where we deserve to be after last year.

Agreed, would like one more LB transfer to go with McNeal, Parks, and the ODU transfer. 2 more at DT would be great.

I wasn’t saying it was a bad thing or surprising. Not anything to read into, the offense is going to be fine. It’s typically how it goes at this time of year. Was just stating that they had struggled up to that point.

Agreed, Hoskins looked good in the slot. Going to need to get bigger on defense. A couple of DT’s and a LB in the portal at minimum if we want to compete this year.
