Chaves contract expires in June 2026. This hire probably gives him the best chance to stick around since Jax will be able to retain more than the other finalists with a better chance to be good in year 1.

I would assume and really hope he is cleaning house and putting a new staff together. Chaves probably was easy to convince but you would have to at least try to sell the fact you are trying to change things

My guess is it will be local focus with a couple portal additions to supplement. I’m guessing Demers will still be on roster and he will probably have to go get another big. I’ll also be curious to see if he runs a similar style as he did in Mayville.

Hutter did the same thing at Mayville. Most of the roster was ND or MN.
