In a press conference like this, there has to be something like “I let my guys down and we as a staff have to do a lot better to get to where we want to be. This year proves we have a lot of work to do” Instead it’s “We’ve made the playoffs the last 4 out of 6 years and I’m disappointed for our guys”

Again, I’m not talking about the talent level. Augustana is probably pretty close to a lot of lower tier FCS teams. It’s unfortunate that they had to play D2 teams, and I think it wasn’t SDSU or USD first choice as teams bailed on them. Right or wrong the committee has always looked at the number of D1 wins as a method of evaluation for these teams.

I’m not giving my portion of the tickets either. I always look forward to making it to games in the fall, next year I might be looking forward to the tailgate more than the game itself.

We still showed up this year. Would have been an even higher average if you just win on the road against Youngstown and Indiana State. Expect this number to drop significantly if Bubba is back. I know a couple of people in my group that won’t be getting season tickets again.
