His point is that bubba and saban are on equal ? I said…IMO….players leave und because of coachingz. Bubba doesn’t better them on the field. Saban does. Jalen hurts transferred because Tua was out performing him. McNaboe transferring is not because someone is out performing him. He would have started next season. Is that why you piped in? To say there is no difference between the two ?

Not necessarily. Saban is 11 years older than bubba. Saban has “it”. He can motivate and demands excellence. Bubba doesn’t. He’s stale. He’s boring. Doesn’t exude any confidence. Players respond accordingly

Submitted to quick Was going to end with ….the reason I believe most players transfer is the connection to the coach. Any sport any level any state. Transfers are happening everywhere and it’s sickening. At und …if I had to guess most feel bubba is a second dad. He is genuine and a great guy that will look out for them. You love guy but he just isn’t helping you succeed on the field. He doesn’t have ability to get the most out of his players. That would lead to some transferring IMO.

If you just look at player development over their career this coaching staff has failed miserably. Quite a few underclassmen have looked great and by senior year they are just out there playing football for und. I see it two ways. Either they weren’t talented to begin with or they fell into bubbas complacency bubble. I say it’s bubbas bubble. This years game against Ndsu is enough proof. They can play with anybody when influenced by outsiders. Players need that “speech”. I would assume bubbas speeches are very similar to his pre game, half time and post game interviews. Stale and boring. They need to feel the want to succeed. Bubba can’t “ignite”. If I had to say in one word how to describe this coaching staff it’s STALE

I would like to see someone with the following criteria: To have a better record than 61-50 in 10 years ( 6-5 /yr) To have a better record than 9-23 vs playoff bound teams in regular season play To have more than 5 playoff appearances and 1 playoff win in 10 years To score more total points than the opponents- (under bubba -2859 to 2864 in 10 years ) To have more than 1 victory against a playoff bound opponent on the road To have a better record than 19-38 on road games To someone that can adjust in game For someone that can motivate the players For someone that doesn’t look like he wants to s$&! his bridges during the game (show confidence) For someone that can recruit players that are needed for und to take the next step That’s a good start I think

Bubba is still living in the 25-30 year ago mindset. Nothing has changed for him. I know my remark doesn’t qualify as “ serious commentary “like you demand but I had to get that off my chest.

I have mentioned the same thing to our group. 90% of the players regress under bubba. Just look at Santiago. He goes from fresh all American to this coaching staff nearly killing him his senior year. They copied and pasted every play with him powering up the A gap. Hard to watch.

Not sure if I’m going to renew mine yet? If bubba was to be gone I would continue but if he is back I’m not sure When they decided to take away the catwalk our group of 20 shrank in half the following year. This year we had 4 of us left with us 4 undecided for next year.

Are you talking about the season as a whole or cherry picked game/s ? Because if it’s a game or games you will say Ndsu win. Right ? Any other games that seem like bragging rights for enjoyment? One game doesn’t define a season. I would describe the season the same as the last 7 seasons or so ….frustrating coach fail

Talked with a couple former players. They were extremely upset with bubba and Danny. They didn’t hold back. I’m sure there are numerous players on this years team that feel the same way with coaching. Schmitty would be the only und connection that I would personally be ok with for next man up. Not perfect but he doesn’t fit the bubba mold. He is extremely to the point and an intense motivator. Now having a resume of experience in the fbs winning column he brings that formula. He is smart and knows football. I think he could excel with the right personal. Just my .02. But since und doesn’t have the monetary ability to hire anything more than a high school gym teacher I’m not sure in the options for next man up.

If und had any balls they would rid his last year of the contract. So sick of hearing “Und doesn’t have the money to do it”. When fans don’t show up and support because of the &@&# show is that making any money ? Who wants to watch this crap ? They need a winner for a coach! Bubba is one of the worst in game adjusters in the game. He lacks killer instinct, loses all knowledge and doesn’t exert any confidence during game time. Players follow their leaders way. Is it coincidence or just luck that unds best win and most inspired game came this year when Lennon talked to the players before the game ? Bubba can’t energize. Lennon is not perfect but he gets his players ready. This years defense was an absolute embarrassment! Tommy is a below average fcs qb. Bubba and Danny see otherwise. Need a change but that just never happened The coaching flaws were at full speed yesterday. Why did Danny think that he needed to pass the ball in the second half !?!? Run the damn ball and burn the clock. Keep their offense off the field! The lack of overall athleticism is shown against playoff teams. There is a reason why so many of unds recruits aren’t being recruited by other fcs teams. But there is some talent on the team and guys that love to play. Ndsu was proof of that when they have the right motivation. They are just being sucked into mediocrity that bubba instills. Feel bad for them. Some have said und can’t recruit here because it’s too cold or too far north l? Ummm Ndsu and sdsu Also. Taking away the catwalk was the worst call alerus center has done. They moved the hard core fans away. Just another frustrating season we are used to seeing under bubba. If und can’t make the change expect another 6 win season next year. Fan attendance/interest will most likely fall as well.

Losing to UNI now puts und into bidding for potential playoff home/road game. Not good. To be honest …und hosting a playoff game under bubba fails even more= Richmond. Bubba …yuck

I have to say ….I think your home resides under a rock. You are all emotional. Anything of pessimism and you are clearly the leader to bud in and say something to negate that. This has been a perennially thing under bubba. Great week followed by fail . Bubba has failed playoffs and has failed fans. “ Last week “ will mean zero when playoffs are announced as und will not be seeded. Not being seeded means a $ bid is required. Und fails at that as well. Und will be thrown to the road and every fan knows by now und doesn’t win on the road in big games. So yes …last week means zero.
