    Some of my buds (originally from "the cities") love UND hockey and won't miss a game, but won't go near the Alerus and watch "D2" ball even with free tickets. Its a large untapped market within the UND student population that UND needs to move to even for perceived perspective if it ever wants to increase its attendance long term.

    Help me understand why ROKU is better than Chromecast? Roku is a chromecast with apps built into the device? In case those days I want use a up, down, left, right, NES style controller to type words to watch videos?

    I don't have century link, but streaming videos in todays standards doesn't require much bandwidth (1.5 mbps for HD...higher is obviously better) vs what the average high speed is (5 mpbs which is about standard cell phone) on LTE (most cell phones) nowadays.. If it claims high speed, I'm sure it'll be fine. All depends on how many people want to watch videos at the same time of course. Midcos highspeed (xstream is about $40 a month for 75 Mbps) have people asking "why would I need that much speed?"...Century link should say how much Mbps and in my opinion you'd want about 5 mbps for each person if you both want to stream HD vids. .....short answer is I use a wireless mobile hotspot for my high speed internet through Sprint and have no problem streaming UND Sports & Netflix....so I couldn't imagine a wired "high speed" internet being any less bandwidth than that (but then again, I've tested my mobile hotspot vs some people high speed land lines wifi and mine wins ;)....but all depends on distance (and walls) from the router....speedtest.net is your friend (and "wifi extenders").

    You don't always have to take the best you can hope for in one division is higher than the best you can hope for in another division as an insult...unless you think the truth is insulting.

    Whoever drank that last glass musta also took the memo stating we rolled this logo out early so he didn't have to deal with it.......and then his second day in office rolled around.

    WDAY channel six at ten starts the news cast stating: "New UND President doesn't slam the door on changing the UND logo."

    Or beating the Gophers in a bowl... Could you imagine all the bison fans instantly wanting to follow UND. ...or the best you can hope for is beating Jacksonville state in front of 20,000 in a place called Frisco.

    Some logos, not all. Some people don't know that. He could have said that in his answer, but the radio never reported any of that. Leaves the door (hope) open for some people. Headline on the Radio was something like (again off memory) "Don't like the new UND logo? You might not have to wait that long for a new one." While not putting gas on the fire, some could see it as stirring the coals a little bit.....His words are going to be interpreted differently by the masses.

    So the new UND president comes out and says (paraphrasing) "we'll see how this logo goes for now and in a few years we might (or be open too) tweak it."
