***Warning***Totally off topic coming... Like the pic in your signature and all, but it has screwed up my viewing of this message board because it is about 3/4's of an inch wider than the rest of the pages. Not a major issue, but it irritates me. Is there something I can do to properly view without scrolling to the right? I don't really want to adjust my monitor's settings for one website.

This is the same Fiona that wrote a story for the Minnesota Hockey Journal about former Gopher Jon Waibel in which she praised him for, among other things, lettering in three sports at Buffalo (MN) High School. I don't believe it. Lucia has a son coming up that is supposed to be legit D-I talent. Would think coaching him at the U of M would be a distinct possibility that Lucia would like to stick around for. Gorg was on with PA today. Basically said that those calling for Lucia's head are crazy. No way he gets fired. Only way he leaves Minnesota is if he resigns, and why would he? Teams go through stretches all across the sporting spectrum where they struggle. Two titles over a 10 year tenure at Minnesota should give the guy a little latitude to try to get things turned around.

That is yet another asinine comment by you on this subject. There are many, MANY Sioux fans that are fans of all Sioux athletic teams. It's not so black and white as "hockey and football against all other sports". Considering there are approximately 4760 members of siouxsports.com, and that not all of them are even UND fans, yeah, the majority aren't on this board.

My family has done this a couple times. One time we were handed tix (free) by a SCSU season ticket holder. The other time we paid face value. There were a good number of people selling tickets each time.

The GF schools have played tournaments in the past in MN, as both Roseau and Warroad were holiday tourney hosts of GF schools in the early 90's. Not sure about more recently. Maybe they got away from that. There has been a recent slow-down for GF recruits, but that should pick up again in the next couple years with some young GFC kids getting the opportunity to play at the next level.

He's also a junior. Potulny has seen him at least once this year, so he's on the MN radar. Saw him take a 10 minute misconduct for "talking back" (I'm assuming) in a critical 3rd period earlier this year. Their opponent tied the game with 3 goals while he was in the box watching. He came out to score the OT winner, which was his 3rd goal of the game. PIM's likely are a maturity issue. That should get straightened out. Might see him move on to the USHL next year. Just my speculating, though.

Difficult to read if you aren't Swedish, but David Lundbohm is playing again this year for the Vaxjo Lakers in Sweden. Took a stick to the eye a couple games back. Not sure he's playing again, yet.

If you are in the Cities anyway, I would go to Mariucci and try to buy from a season ticket holder out front. That is where you'll get the best deal at pretty much any arena. We've had great luck doing that, sometimes even getting tickets below face value, at the DECC, St Cloud, Mariucci, REA before we had our own season tickets, and in Mankato. If it doesn't matter where you sit and you aren't already acting beligerent ( ), season ticket holders don't usually care what team you're cheering for.
