So... are you basing him ending up at UMD or thinking he should go to UNO, BSU, or MSUM, on seeing him play? Does the style of game he plays fit in better at those schools than it would at UND? Does he play both ends well? Does he back-check? Is he an aggressive fore-checker? Is he a good teammate? Is he a leader?

Thought it was less "chirpy", ala Brett Hextall. We all know how much the Gopher coaches like Brett Hextall.

Just curious as to how this works. I see a couple kids from Shattuck, but otherwise no Minnesota kids that I noticed. Is this intentional? If so, I would assume the Shattuck kids are NOT from Minnesota. Looks like they are mostly kids that are playing "AAA".

True enough. Marcus something?? I think it was for stealing a couple cd's from Target when it was still connected to the Columbia Mall. Each and every program has their share of punks. BUT... I think this is a huge story in Fargo, no matter that the accused were connected to the NDSU campus or not, just because of the amount of merchandise involved. The people with direct connections to NDSU look to be "small frys", considering the scope of the whole case. This in itself maybe isn't enough to cast a shadow over the NDSU program, but when you look at the collective events of recent years, it certainly fans the flames .

Nothing is out of the realm of possibility. Someone else has mentioned Grand Forks having a Major Junior team in the Western Hockey League within the CHL as another possibility. They already have teams in the US in Washington and Oregon, as well as teams that are alot closer in Saskatchewan and in Brandon Manitoba. There are teams in locations much smaller than Grand Forks in this league. Would take an owner with deep pockets. Not saying the REA will go this route, just that there are options there that will result in a team playing in the arena that is the Fighting Sioux. UND's team would obviously be a primary tenant of the REA in whatever situation. Speculation is fun, isn't it.

I have no idea if it is true or not. It was said by Christopher Gabriel today on the Jay Thomas show. Might have been #3 College jersey and #8 jersey sold world wide. Sounded to me like he had done the research. Someone send him an email to verify. All I know is I heard them say #3 and #8. Of course they could have been FOS.

I'm partial to the logo and nickname that made UND #3* in collegiate apparel sales and #8* in the world for athletic apparel. *from WDAY radio today If it can't be that, forgive me if it takes a while to warm up to something else.

Does that really matter at this point?
