Haven't followed fb as closely as I should be, but have a question... why didn't we see Seth Nichols ever this season? He came in with Hendrickson and I believe was Scout offensive player of the year one of these past couple years. Hendrickson was moved FROM qb this fall to wr. We aren't talking about a Marquese Gray (sp) type of athlete here, so SN had to have shown something at the qb position to warrant such a move of Hendrickson. It doesn't matter what the enrollment is of the high school a kid attended, or what class he played in. If the kid can play the position, he can play the position. Especially considering the apparent lack of confidence in Goska, was surprised to not see SN get a little sniff of playing time. Does anyone that has seen practices over the year have any insight?

I read it as the stadium is further down the road than the indoor practice facility and the human performance lab based on this sentence: If they aren't fundraising because they already have a donor, probably will see Daktronics Stadium in Brookings. Or maybe Sanford Stadium. He's buying and naming everything else.

Don't the Sioux still have Poolman running the conditioning program? IF UNO has any advantage when it comes to conditioning, it should be pretty minuscule. And, cowbells? Seriously??

Friday - Nelson Saturday - Bruneteau

#29 had a jump when playing with those guys on Saturday. Would love to see him break out like the two freshmen in Colorado have (Zucker & Schwartz). Not sure he's there talent-wise, but he's not that far away. Hak & staff like to protect our freshmen early. With seeing Nelson on the power play and on that line on Saturday, maybe they're going to let him go.

I have ACS cable in my town. They USUALLY play the Sioux on a local channel called "locallink". Direct FSSN feed. Whoever was in charge of "flipping the switch" (if that is what it takes) finally woke up about 3 minutes into the 3rd period.

As I suspected, ACS is playing instrumental music and scrolling ads/community announcements on the channel that usually carries the Fighting Sioux Sports Network. Even was lucky enough to hear the theme to "Young and the Restless" a minute ago. Yippee.

Saw your post after making the other one. Changes things a bit, but hope they'll have the game on tonight, as I am staying in town to work and not making the trip to the northwest. Not holding my breath, though. First weekend never goes as planned with the FSSN.

Every year this happens. I call our cable company and they always blame someone at UND for not turning on the feed. No idea if it is true or not, but this is at least the 4th straight year for the first game(s) to be screwed up. I doubt anyone is monitoring this site from UND that can make sure everything is done on their end, either. They usually have the bugs out by the second week. But that doesn't solve this week...
