I put Schweigert in the same category as DeBoer: What has he done at SIU? Ianello? Yeah, 2-22. But I do believe he would be able to assemble a staff and recruit. My concern, yes, would be he didn't do so well inheriting someone else's mess last time, but he probably has a lot of lessons learned from that too.

Regarding Chyzyk, well, we know two things: 1. It wasn't a hockey stick. Those suckers are more than $250 these days. 2. You aren't an accused thief facing charges and a member of Coach Hakstol's team.

Guys, honestly, I'm a sports fan, but hiring a coach is not an "emergency" for UND or any other school.

The NMU series sets the tone for the second half: - will the team come out and continue to put in strong performances, or - will the team run hot and cold night to night.

I would prefer a head FB coach who has a first commitment to UND Football, not to old chums and "insiders" in Grand Forks, not to family from the region, not to some ol' boys network, but to UND Football first and foremost.

Did some of the penalties happen during play and some after the whistle? I believe that can be used to account for serving and when release.

DCs have come and gone under Bohl, but the OC remains. To me that is very telling. I've always assumed Vigen was the heir apparent.

I have said what I have said. In all seriousness, this may *give* time to Faison as this Bohl turmoil may give pause to some local recruits.

Clean up the penalties. Play 60:00, not 59:40 and hope Zane bails you out. And c'mon Rocco ... bury those breakaways!* *Rocco: They have you figured. You try to get in tight. There's a ton of film. They don't even look for a shot until you're within five feet. You need to snap one from the dots on a breakaway to get them honest again.
