We had a depleted WR corps and only return two RBs (plus a LB to RB convert). And the secondary needs immediate help. I'll go crazy and make a madly wild prediction that the UND coaches will be looking near and far for WRs and RBs and DBs, probably even in exotic places like JUCOs and FBS transfers. I'll go one step further and say based on line play they'll probably look for OL and DL guys too, and maybe from JUCOs and FBS transfers. < GASP! > Am I an insider and expert now too?

That's a pretty good assessment (even if you're an NDSU guy ).

There have to be some FBS guys out there at WR that see the handwriting on the wall (an established guy ahead of them and either their last year of eligibility is here or a hot shot recruit is coming in behind them). We've seen what the right guy like that can do at QB (Braden Hanson) and CB (Alex Tillman).

EWU is basically Spokane. If Gonzaga can make a MBB go of it in Spokane ...

I don't see Coastal (or Richmond / Morgan ) as more than a speed bump on the way to the semis. I don't see much in the #3 portion either. The most dangerous team to NDSU in that section is Sam Houston (and the revenge factor). UNH should make the semis. And I hereby declare the #4 portion of the bracket "the bracket of doom": Montana, EWU, Illinois State, and UNI. Ouch.

I thought the announced last night was only about 4800. That should mean about 1200 tickets are available (and that SCSU can't sell out with UND coming to town).

I guess the prediction by geaux_sioux (34-20 UND) gets today's applause.
