I've wondered if his backup is Jacque Straap.
-
Your answer, "I don't know," is what I have the hard spot with. Maybe I'm spoiled by the analytic approach of NCAA ice hockey (PWR); maybe I don't like an undefined process because it gives too many openings for back room graft.
-
Easton Stick put the 59 onto WIU. I recall this Wentz fellow playing against UND.
-
OK then, given the FCS said UND was first out, why'd EIU make the cut?
-
You know it's bad when someone/something can make me agree with McFeely: http://mcfeely.areavoices.com/2015/11/22/fcs-playoffs-taking-on-division-ii-boring-feel/ The FCS selection committee is to college football what Don Adam is to college hockey: they make it up as they go.
-
Bison06: Please consult Cole Jirik's Twitter account regarding UND or WIU or EIU. Thank you.

Two big fourth quarter leads disappeared because of injury/depth. That is fixable. And there is a staunch, harsh lesson to the team in that.
-
I am pretty sure there was a formula floating around here last week. Was it used?
-
Your logic: SDSU is a top 8. Fair enough NCAA logic: PSU is top 8. Problem: NCAA not consistent in its logic.
-
By taking a 6-5 team the FCS dispels the "7 DI wins" notion. Is this a move by the FCS to go to 32 teams? To do so you'd have to take some 6-5 teams. This year you'd be looking at EWU and NAU in the field.
-
So the "7 DI wins" standard is now proven to be fallacy. Is this a first move by the FCS to move to a 32 team field? To do that you'd have to take some 6-5 schools. Precedent set.
-
Which is better: win over PSU or SDSU? Answer: Which one is a top 8 seed?

Ultimate motivation.

Before someone asks in THIS thread: NCAA FCS selection show is Sun Nov 22 on ESPNU at 10 am Central time.
-
Ask after the selection show.

Start the second half with the ball and do something positive with it.

NORTH DAKOTA FIGHTING HAWKS @ SCSU - Friday Gameday
The Sicatoka replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
OK, from opening faceoff to final horn, during the game broadcast (not pre-game or post-game), how many times does Tim Hennessy (just Tim, no color guy, no guests) say "Fighting Hawks". Place your bets. -
Would seem appropriate given the tacit, default imprimatur from Kelley and Twamley Hall.
-
It's not worth winning if you can't win big

"The Holy Roman Empire was neither holy nor Roman nor an empire. Discuss." -
Frat boy? How about GF Herald's Tom Miller earlier today on Twitter: I figure if this is the new de facto acceptable standard, what the F'Hawk, I'm going with it.
-
Not looking to get into wordsmithing, but if you are willing to ignore reality you've detached from it.
-
Rather than shooting the messenger, refute the message. PS - The day I throw a tantrum, everyone will know it. That message is stark, honest commentary. As I said, refute it.
-
Talk about a glorious trifecta of detachment from reality, and failure, by Dr. Kelley: built in obscenity sure to offend some: the F'Hawk you say ... quite simply: http://www.howaboutwekeepsioux.com -- Dr. K: You got punked here"ruffling the feathers" of another NDUS memberNot only did the man not see the F'Hawk-ing obvious coming at him, he missed the whole acronym (HAWKS = How About We Keep Sioux) angle because he and his minions weren't paying attention, and he missed all the people here pointing out the number of schools that go from Native to <adjective> Hawk and how pathetic that is as it's been done at least a dozen times before. The man took a failed process to a whimpering conclusion, and yet was able to have the epic fail extend beyond that. Dare I say, in the end, he proved that he F'Hawk-ed all this up.
-
... that got F'Hawk-ed up by someone.
