  1. This gives us another insight to the hierarchy, the food chain, in NCAA athletics: A deputy AD at an FCS just took the AD job at a DIII.
  2. Um, UND will be needing a SWA, senior womens administrator. Key word: womens. Mike is long a Y chromosome for the job.
  3. Again, what is the job Kennedy is looking to fill. Don't say "AD". What specific things does Kennedy have in mind for UND Athletics that the new AD will be held to achieve? Only Kennedy know those, and he'll pick the person he believes will accomplish them.
  4. Sanderson confirmed in GF Herald. http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/hockey/4384963-und-lands-commitment-nhlers-son
  5. Kellie Elliott on line one for you Crats.
  6. You boys keep watching your D2 boys movies. I'll watch the hockey movie. Now, "ya know, by yourself...you feel shame."
  7. Mentioning things that literally are not ...
  8. The quiet, unsung guy coming in on our defense is Ethan Frisch. I knew him before I found out how good of a hockey player he is.
  9. Internet rules, man. Sorry. Copy my meme to reply to me and it's a forfeit by you. Down goes stoney! Down goes stoney!
  10. You copied my meme to reply to me. I win the thread!
  11. Looking at clock, doing the math (driving time/distance), I'm wondering if I can get to the fan luncheon in Fargo at noon. Then again, they can't/won't say anything beyond "process ... interviews continuing ... Kennedy ... great pool ... yadda-yadda-wonk-wonk."
  12. No. D2 fans are the odd ones.

    2018 Season

Offensive line. Offensive. Line. The. Offensive. Line. Nothing more need be talked about until that is feared, yes, feared, by opponents.
  14. May the Gods of Hockey have mercy on your immortal souls.
  15. Quite sincerely, with RT we'd still be DII with hockey in the WCHA.
  16. Again, what is President Kennedy looking for? I'm assuming he's attending these forums to see how the candidate "handles a room". I assume he's also interviewing each privately (as the AD is a direct member of his staff). And I assume he's not doing the private AD interviews 1-on-1 but with one or two others of his staff. Or, at least that's how I'll do it when all y'all make me Kennedy's successor one day. But ultimately, it's not what you or I think best, it's what President Kennedy is looking for. And I trust Kennedy because he's shown he's willing to be bold and make tough calls to fit to his larger vision.
  17. Maybe a naive question, but is there some "certificate" or "license" or "official training" that someone needs to have completed to be recognized as an athletics director by the NCAA. Or is the position just a title and a school can name anyone to fill it. I found the posting, but here's all it lists for Qualifications and a lot of that is boilerplate:
  18. Yup. And Phil got the "bucket and mop" after Buning was let go. But, Phil was not permitted (as an acting) to do what needed to be done.
  19. Faison was under the fiscal "too many sports for the dollars" bus before he ever got here. Lest we forget, Acting AD Phil Harmeson (post Buning fiasco) saw reality long before others dare face it.
  20. North Dakota. Hey, a guy can dream.
  21. No. Seriously. Anyone who'll publicly admit to having watched D2, seek help.
  22. I would follow up on that claim before buying in.
  23. Seek help.
  24. Birds fly. Fish swim. Sun rises in the east. And ... Yup.
