After UND got the lead and a late Duluth power play I saw two overt penalties on Duluth not get called but then UND should’ve been called for boarding shortly after. And then there was a third no call on Duluth after that. I still say the second referee should be in the press box. They’d be wireless to the on ice to call live penalties, and replays would go faster. Plus we could keep experienced officials around longer if they didn’t have to skate at game pace but could instead be upstairs.

That look is horrific for college hockey.

After the NDSU call, and burning a TO coming out of half time, and not managing a late eleven point lead, and not having a second FG kicker available, is that Bubba’s admission that he has mismanaged the game during every conference loss this season? Or is it his retirement resignation speech?
-
Or should that be … Gophers weak. Either way it’s the third straight home opponent with uniforms stained in bloody stool and dehydrated urine.

That has to kill the “N Dakta St” fans. (That’s how ESPN+ lists them. )

Question asked on page 133 of thread debating issue. A rift in the fan base is not helping.

Lack of continuity of branding of UND Athletics.

If the team would wear "Hawks" jerseys from the Mighty Ducks films, I'd buy Bubbs the leather jacket to "collar pop".

What’s happening in Omaha (USHL)?
The Sicatoka replied to The Sicatoka's topic in Non-collegiate sports
@Yote 53 ... I'm not sure it's the players. https://www.therinklive.com/juniors/7289784-Ex-USHL-commissioner-calls-Omaha-situation-heartbreaking -
That sounds ominous ...

Shouldn't Will Smith have gone to (Fresh) Prince(ton). ... I'm here all week ...

Any? For your consideration ... If anything I'd say Tommy lacks accuracy on the deep post. He hits out routes very well (and outs are always longer than you think, Pythagorean geometry).

That's a sucker bet if there ever was one. -
Please note the date of this quote of myself ... Is the name as great as it could be? No. It might not even be a Jaguar F-Type R, but believe it or not, it could be worse. (It could be a rodent.) Do some of you want to stay stylistically (meaning arts and fonts) in the '50, '70s, or '90s. Clearly. That Nashville sweater was straight-up from the 1990s Kendall Baker collection. <-- There. I said it. To me the biggest knock on the new logo is lack of Y-axis symmetry meaning it looks like it's going backwards on the left side of a helmet. (See also: NY Jets) Otherwise, it is a 2010s logo. Greatest in the world? No. Can I live with it. Yes. Why? The kid wearing the logo, and the institution they represent, is why I'm there.

I have more disdain for maroon and gold than the ugly bucket contingent (Michigan and Notre Dame).

Reading Schlossman’s tweets today, USHL Omaha has fired their coach (8-4-2 record) and now the rest of the staff has resigned. Whispers of significant budget cuts there also abound. And there’s a whisper of a “Charlestown Chiefs” scenario happening. What’s going on in Omaha?
-
About Nashville, I said the early 90s called and wanted their jersey back. The 70s are calling now. And the attempted workaround of Fighting Hawks is pretty overt. (We know what Berry's moniker preference was.)

SDSU is #2 overall FCS. A win? It'd make UND 6-5, on a three-game win streak, have only lost to higher ranked opponents, and still likely on the outside looking in. All that said ... Control what's yours to control.

You mean 10th and 11th. http://www.mvc.org/football/stats/Valley Football Stats Conf.pdf?path=football But who'd have believed ... fewest penalties and penalty yards.

Bad news: UND has to win, and even after putting in the effort the odds aren't great. Good news: Back in the 80's Ric Ocasek got with Paula Porizkova so stranger things have happened.

2020, New Orleans Saints, that hack #9 would get pulled for wildcat QB #7.
-
One to ponder ... In Massey UND is 14 (seventh in MVFC). That ranking would have UND as the top team in eleven FCS conferences: Southland, Atlantic Sun, Southern, Ivy, Ohio Valley, BIg South, Patriot, SWAC, Northeast, MidEast, Pioneer Not the MVFC (seventh), Big Sky (fifth), Colonial (third), or WAC(second).
