The numbers bandied about in past conversations about FBS was that is would take $2-4 million more annually compared to what is spent at FCS. This would cover 44 additional scholarships (22M / 22W) and increased coaching staffs and salaries and general department costs. These days I believe the numbers would lean closer to the $4 million figure.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Caveat emptor. -
It's the AAC or SunBelt.

Here's where I say again there's no western "MAC". A consortium of the top of the MVFC and BSC would form a better conference athletically and academically.

How do you know if Dom is creating a false tweet? His thumbs are moving.

At least Nebraska got it correct here: https://huskers.com/sports/football/schedule/2022 The side by side with GaSo's logo shows ... it could be worse.

The hemorrhagic fever (high-mortality) is the non-starter with me. https://www.cdc.gov/vhf/index.html

Chuck Barris called and he's not happy for the comparison because at least his production was funny.

Any press is good press ... as long as you spell my Twitter handle correctly.

He's setting click (and radio show callers) bait, and some bit.

Humor, true karma, would be to find out Evander Kane and DeShawn Watson have the same agent (Pariah Sports Management?). Not sure even Mike Rowe would want that job.

There's no way I'd go to China short of a full guarantee that I could leave immediately upon my request no matter my health status. (And I'd trust that guarantee as much as three-day old gas station sushi.) Covid still locking down cities: https://www.cnbc.com/2021/12/23/major-chinese-city-locks-down-to-control-covid-outbreak.html And now a new virus (hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome) on the move in China: http://weekly.chinacdc.cn/en/article/doi/10.46234/ccdcw2021.272

Use of that logo tells me the Nebraska media team is performing at the same level as their football team in the B1G.

With Sanderson wearing the USA jersey for a period of time, 6 and 24 had better grow some whiskers and quick, and 2 and 7 need to quick making blind passes to open spaces. -
Not big news in the real world, but in fashion world it's Nygard is a pariah. He's facing a long list of ugly charges.

It would be bad, very bad, for CC if the hockey players' claims of boosters causing heart issues came to fruition. The $750 million endowment would merely be the start of a settlement. That's the fear those who mandate need to understand and take heed of: If the unspeakable happens, someone will come to break you mercilessly.

@Blackheartif "Ricky Bobby" don't work for ya, how's about Stevie Ray?

Why play? Television money. So the talking heads have something to blather about. Because coaches have bonuses on the line based on the outcome.

"The Wildcats will be the primary tenant at the 3,000-seat facility, which is currently under construction." 3000 seats does not scream "moving to NCAA DI". Then again, what's Robson at CC hold? 3400.

"We have some teams not dressing a full roster. We have other teams using defensemen at forward so that they can play." What's safe for the players? I'd say you need 15 skaters. A lot of the times in games coaches "shorten the bench" to three lines and four defense, so that's 13 skaters. I'd say you have to have a goalie and a dressed backup. If you can't roster 15 + 2 for a scheduled game, you forfeit, you take a "1-0" loss and all the ramifications (PWR) that come with it. And about using defensemen at forward, um, let's start a list of UND D that have played at F on a game day roster.

I heard the NHL on SiriusXM guys talking about how recently and NBA team played a game with four guys on long-term deals (rostered players) and four guys off the street on ten-day contracts to get to the NBA required eight dressed players for a game.

PCM and I used to talk about how neither of us could recall "Sparky Vahthisnam" going to the wall in a scrum and not coming away with the puck.
