The only measure by which ACC > B1G is basketball or lacrosse. Academics and research it's the B1G.

The Ralph is probably open in August ...

Oh crud ... I forgot -- it's Wednesday, the other signing day this "spring". I read this first as "Why'd a punter sign today?"

I sure hope he doesn't mean the Bears of U of Northern Colorado.

I'd guess Virginia or Missouri would be offered before the Heels. And it'd make more sense for the Cavs as they'd have Maryland next door, and Missou fits right with Iowa, Illinois, and Nebraska. As much as they don't want to admit it, UNC is tied to Duke, Wake, and NCSU.

Why would they refer to a "roommate of a player" if the "roommate" was also a player? Wouldn't they just say "a player"? Clear writing would say "brought a player whose roommate had tested positive" ... "that player later developed" ... Put another way ... "Neil Eisenhut's roommate was on the trip" or "Murray Baron was on the trip"? (Swap in Valk/Smith or Marvin/McFarlane or Parent/Bobyck at your leisure.)

Right now Massey has FCS rated as follows: MVFC (Colonial, going to FBS) MVFC BSC BSC BSC MVFC MVFC (WAC, going to FBS) MVFC BSC MVFC BSC MVFC <--seventh in MVFC, fourteenth in FCS Colonial Those 12 MVCF/BSC schools would make for an interesting consortium.

How many times, and in how many sports, have we heard the biggest adaptation for players going to a higher level is the speed of the game. -

"Let's Go Peay!" always makes me laugh. That top left Peay image, the shape of the arena end seating relative to the floor, I've seen that before. Probably just a 'co-ink-cee-dink' from the Peay.

You can't be serious ... There's a line, and if that's true, Mel Pearson and Michigan is way over it. And by way I mean the punishment should mirror that of SMU Football back in the day. A coach should not be instructing their charges to lie. And Pearson, did he lie again about GLI reasons? Over the line. Period. All Michigan is missing is their version of a Penn State problem (or do they already have it with Dr. Anderson if some student-athletes were 17). That article is damning if 25% of it is true.

Not to those who did know. Harbor pilots make really good money. Pilots had props ... before wings. (<-- Think about it. )

A Harbaugh coaching an NFL team with purple jerseys. How novel.

OK @iluvdebbieswhere's Russell Wilson end up next year? Heck, do the whole carousel.

If memory serves, Lennon just left for SIU and it was clear the new HC would be either the OC or DC. The DC went with Lennon so we got the default.

Divisional weekend: the roadies win, save for the last game of the weekend. Championship weekend: the roadies win, save for the last game of the weekend.

EDM missed the memo apparently. When PIT had 87 and 71 and 58, they had 29. When CHI had 19 and 88 and 2, they had a better than average tender (Niemi / Crawford). When LAK had Kopitar and Doughty, they had Quick. EDM is yet to make a legitimate, serious run at a tender to go with 29 and 97 and 25.

Those are all great questions, but all we have to evaluate is actual performance. DeBoer has gone from USF Cougs purple to UW Huskies purple in 12 seasons.

Or was it a choice? Doubling Wilson means some other bunny is running loose to shoot from the perimeter.

IF (<-- big if) the NHL were to move them they'd want to keep them west, because they don't want to stick DET or CBJ into the west. Houston would make a nice rival to DAL; KC would have STL. Milwaukee would have MIN and CHI. Portland would have SEA and VAN. I don't see Quebec City, Hartford, or Cleveland having much hope because of "east". But I also see the NHL being stubborn and staying in Phoenix.

Anyone else amazed that Evander Kane found a new home in the NHL. And in Edmonton no less. The Oilers are in full scramble mode apparently.

The NHL has to be all fired up about Arizona playing in a 5000 seat arena for three or four seasons.
