    It was close to two decades ago @PCM was advocating "two QBs on the field at once" to me as a disrupter to the defense preparation. I believe it was the FB "Brock-star" era.

    Chaves is behind "all bird cages" is a bit of a stretch, if that's who you are referring to. If he's that deep in the details of hockey equipment I'd be stunned. I'd heard it was "team decided" up to this point.

    Some folks are slow on the up-take. UND just put a ton of new looks and wrinkles on tape that MVFC DCs need to be aware of. It almost forces a D to switch to man coverage when 11 or 6 is in the slot; if they stay in zone, step back, backwards pass, and slot QB has RPO with the opposite side receiver running post and near side running shallow cross (ready to block).

    Regarding fish bowls vs bird cages: Last I remember is as others have: C. Sanderson in '16. Each has pros and cons. I don't understand the "all bird cage" rule of late and I'm glad to see player preference return.
