I have to wonder who was running the main camera this weekend. Constantly over-zoomed and chasing, or losing, the puck. If it's a noob camera op, learn from the weak performance and attend a couple more hockey games to understand the flow. If it's a vet, tighten up the gimbal on that camera. PS - Nobody needs a cutaway during play to see the official's arm is up when the puck is still in play.

... or the coach to an official. But ya-gatta admit a triple-double is a solid performance.
-
That game has a slightly different "weighting" factor. But there's much for the lads to do before fretting about that.
-
@Sweethockeyis that a "third man" (dark hat, hoodie) also sportin' the Omaha double-bird? Omaha had a triple-double?
-
Run it. It's not a powerful as one would guess.

Oh no, there was Michael, and Jermaine, and Tito, and ... a couple more (Jackie and Marlon). It's easy as "ABC, 123" ... And depending, there might be a Jaksen at UND next year. Fine ... LouieJam

Has anyone checked on @gfhockeytoday? His team's season ended last night in Stearns County.

2022-23 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Looking at this scenario more ... it's a mess. Fargo, N.D. Scheels Arena March 23 & 25 University of North Dakota Manchester, N.H. SNHU Arena March 23 & 25 University of New Hampshire Allentown, Pa. PPL Center March 24 & 26 Pennsylvania State University and Spectra Bridgeport, Conn. Total Mortgage Arena March 24 & 26 Yale University and Sacred Heart University Where would you send #1 UMn? Not Fargo or Allentown as there are "home hosts". You protect the #1 from those. Gophers to "Manch-vegas"? Probably. Puts the Q in Bridgeport. You wouldn't send Mich to face PSU in PA would you, so Mich to Fargo and DU to PA and PSU. -
You're the one that started down this "Richard Gere and the gerbil" path.

So what wasn't there? My top guesses: Leadership. Culture. Leadership recognizes and solves problems early, before they grow. That didn't happen early. What I will note is that I see more of 15 than 19 with the media the last six weeks or so. Something changed in the dynamic there. Culture? How many guys on the roster today were in the room on Mar 27, 2021 after 5OT? I count just ten, yes, ten*. That's 10 of 27. Talk "culture" all day, but it doesn't survive that much churn. It has to be rebuilt and re-established. I suspect that is finally happening. Last thought on churn: We'll have a bunch yet this spring (six guys out of eligibility, pro signings, portals). Whatever leadership finally is getting the culture re-established needs to be held onto to keep the trend going the right way. * 19, 10, 13, 15, 28, 4, 11, 17, 25, 27

2022-23 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
The Sicatoka replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
In this scenario (UND wins autobid), not likely. Mn and Q seem locked in 1/2. DU and Mich seem locked 3/4. UMn gets seeded first, but not Fargo. Q gets seeded next, out east. Whoever is 3 visits Scheels in this scenario, and in the scenario DU loses to UND, so Mich is likely 3 and "gonna go-tah North Dakota ... " -
Did "dad" know? We'll never know apparently; the media has lost interest. Did the TM possession move from "negotiating" to "turned over to UND" in a day when it came out? Yup. That sounds like "dad hammer", whether he knew or just found out. But if UND was "negotiating" why wouldn't it get back to him if he didn't know before. Questions ...

PWR goes 16 --> 14.

Dare I say many guys in the portal have nil value.

Who terminated a UND season from 1997 on, for example read 2017 as "UND ended by BU who was ended by UMD who was ended by Nat Champ DU". (italics signifies DNQ for NCAAs) 1997 - National Champion 1998 - by Mich 1999 - by BC by Maine 2000 - National Champion 2001 - by BC 2002 - by Minn* 2003 - by Ferris State by Minn 2004 - by Denver 2005 - by Denver 2006 - by BC by Wisc 2007 - by BC by Mich St 2008 - by BC 2009 - by UNH by BU 2010 - by Yale by BC 2011 - by Mich by UMD 2012 - by Minn by BC 2013 - by Yale 2014 - by Minn by Unioin 2015 - by BU by Prov 2016 - National Champion 2017 - by BU by UMD by DU 2018 - by SCSU by USAFA by UMD** 2019 - by DU*** by UMass by UMD 2020 - < bleep > Covid 2021 - by UMD by UMass 2022 - by Notre Dame by Mankato by DU 2023 - TBD The last team mentioned on each row was the National Champion. Not sure where Covid hangs its banner <- that's rhetorical. *in WCHA opening round, Minn won NC **lost to SCSU in NCHC semi (season effectively ends), won 3rd place game over UMD for all the good that did ***in NCHC quarters -
They waived the other three off?
