Just an observation: This UConn fellow does not look "thick" and "developed" like most guys playing at that level.
-
At mention of "east coast markets" people tend to howl about Rutgers in the B1G; it's one-dimensional thought. Conferences want multi-dimensional fits: academics, athletics, demographics. See: B1G and BTAA.org.

So there's still hope you'll see the light. ForumComm papers (other than sports) have become far below par. I really miss Tu-Yuen Tran.
-
So is Wahzamahtah U going to be on that list soon?
-
We've already done the "skate sharpener" jokes. -> The person or the machine, ... or both. Mankato players this fall: "Hey, where's my water bottle?"
-
"Alaska-Fairbanks, the AAA affiliate of North Dakota, ... "

TeamMakers and their gambling site Playmakers is the "that", yes.

https://www.grandforksgov.com/home/showpublisheddocument/47674/638191595078670000 There's mention of the "land taxes" on 9 of 12. I'd expect (<-- supposition by me) Burian and Assoc is the owner based on MVI. Dan, because we know you'd never sully yourself and visit GF or UND, MVII is going onto a parking lot that is an eyesore. And yes, that is possible.

Where'd these guys play?

What's the difference between that and the NDSU QB sellin' beds for Comfort King(?). Both would be "Name Image Likeness" deals. Nelson already had one with an insurance company.

I'd guess they're waiting for all the hoops and permits of "full go" on construction before saying anything. That diagram had lots of moving pieces (steam pipe moves, street reconfigurations, skyway, and that's before buildings and stadiums). See 10 of 12 here: https://www.grandforksgov.com/home/showpublisheddocument/47674/638191595078670000

CSU is a fine institution, but it's not the State University of New Jersey (aka Rutgers). Rutgers always wins because of media market (NYC eyeballs) and AAU status. Athletics? CSU.

The "public" in this case is primarily the land (UND) and the TIF from the city.
-
OVC just brought soccer in-house. That's how we got here. Pretty sure Fenton isn't going to convince TX and VA schools to fly over the OVC to the Summit.
-
"DONOR FIELD" is a nice touch ...
-
The over-Columbia "Bridge to Nowhere" goes somewhere! I like that they show an overhead walkway going south, but to what? Another freestanding tower down the the Hawk-way? All the way to MVI would be a heck of a span.
-
Google a little and you'll find "ownership issues".
-
Oliver is best described as having "Motzko Syndrome": great season, so close, but can't finish the big one.

There's always churn in the USHL offseason. It caught my eye that the "Asst GM" left St Clair's title. And "smoldering" might be a good word for Omaha.
-
Shake up in USHL Sioux City: GM leaves for MSU-M. Colton St. Clair had the title Asst GM/Asst HC but they've named a new GM (not St Clair) and the website now only lists him as Asst HC. And the USHL Fargo HC job is open. Dude that'll make the hire? Fargo GM Cary Eades. Interesting times.

2023-24 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
The Sicatoka replied to AlphaMikeFoxtrot's topic in Men's Hockey
Just in private post-game assessment/critique of officials. -
One last (unpleasant) thought: When the OVC took MSOC in house (no more Summit affiliates) the Summit really couldn't stand to lose a MSOC program. Then the OVC got WIU. Summit in peril. And there's that OVC name again. If the MVC were to suddenly go looking for a BB and baseball school and target ORU I'd be beyond paranoid. I'd know.

2023-24 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

In light of that, ... this would be so deliciously awesome. Thank you Tim Hennessy for that jocularity to start a long weekend.
