It's all just another phase of .... The Vast Fighting Sioux Conspiracy

How far do you want to take this "duplication" and "facts" thing? How about: University of North Dakota - established 1883 North Dakota Agricultural College* - established 1890 Anything beyond ag that NDSU does is duplication, right? * Later renamed North Dakota State University of Agriculture and Applied Science.

Apparently they have to make room for two banners up there. The WCHA recognizes UND as having won 13 WCHA titles. There are only 11 currently hung in The Ralph. We're missing a 1963 (co-)WCHA regular season banner from this expanding array.

Any of you expected less from the Star Tribune?

There a great blast from the past on this subject in the link. Be sure to check out the second page of it where 'sagard' first mentions the league champion's scoring and defensive numbers.

Bill Mason had a tough Saturday night on UND's second goal. However, Bill Mason had a tough Friday night in letting MTU pick Matt Jones at the blueline to let Engelhardt in free for a shot and MTU's lone goal (ruining Brandt's shutout). I'd say the bad goals were even on the weekend.

No, no, no, that's The University of North Dakota at Phoenix. See all the UND Aerospace distance learning campuses here.

I knew there are indications of alcohol problems on the SCSU campus. I didn't know how far they extended in terms of "who" and "time of day."
-
By the way .... Here's a link to UND's Division of Continuing Education. They offer great, accredited degree programs in many fields on the satellite campuses as well as over the Internet. Take a look.

Who? And every day is a great day in North Dakota.

Forgive me Doggy, but I'm a fan wanting an outright title no matter how the team gets it. I'd prefer a sweep to it. If it comes at UMD's expense in Madison, so be it. Sorry, I'm greedy.

UND is soon to be offering more courses on its Fargo mini-campus. Of course, UND's neighbor to the south is upset by this. They are claiming its bad policy to let UND offer these courses in Fargo, claiming duplication and competition for students is wrong. But not that long ago, like last summer, that same school claimed that duplication and competition was good and cost (to taxpayers) wasn't an issue. Funny how stories change when your not on the "giving" end of it. The Story

Don't tell me you've seen Blais in "The Gorilla" mode too.
-
I demand all these demands not be so demanding, and ... I demand that my demand that all these demands not be so demanding be implemented immediately! I demand it!
-
You're looking forward to a year with no hope of playoffs?
-
"What Should Blais Do?" Put the team in position to win an outright MacNaughton Cup. Put the team in position to enter the playoffs with confidence. Put the team in position to enter the playoffs on a roll. Put the team in position to take care of their business. Put the team in position to take care of their own.

St. Mary's of CA versus MSU-Mankato: a game of evenly matched teams. Too bad we will never see that game because St. Mary's has dropped football.
-
Huh? Do expand please.

So the conference that one of NDSU's 16 intercollegiate athletics programs is in is already losing a team, in less than a week after inception. No announcements yet on conferences for the other 15 of 16 programs.

Yeah, but AIB has the advantage that they carry their sticks with them all the time and their guide dogs growl at and scare away the defenders.

I don't think "O & M Sioux" can lay claim to eastern-most. Doesn't a someone have a "SiouxFanInBoston" handle?
-
I don't see the Miami Hurricanes football program looking to recruit just Floridians. And just because a guy is a "local" doesn't mean he's the right fit for a program.

Question: If the Sunbelt really is shopping for future I-As, wouldn't they be smart enough to shop for DI-AA schools that already meet the DI-A attendance requirement? DI-AA teams that averaged more than 15000 in 2002: Jackson St. Delaware Montana Southern U. Florida A&M Youngstown St. N.C. A&T McNeese St. Alcorn St. Citadel
