That was the point I was trying to make in my post yesterday. Playing teams like Valpo, Drake, Butler, etc don't do anything for the team except get a W. We get Murray State too but they are conference

I was gone this weekend but did manage to watch the game. This was beyond bad. I can't believe UND didn't win this thing by a comfortable margin. I'm not blaming the players but boy the coaches, makes me wonder if Bubba isn't somewhere on the staff. On to Valpo. I really think these easy games like Valpo and Portland State make things worse. We go and blow them out and it makes it look like this team can do anything and then good teams come along and expose the weakness. It may not be a popular thought but it's true. I'd like to see a little more challenging teams in the non con part of the schedule. We'll win by 40+ next week and then on to conference games. Montana=Coulda/Shoulda/Woulda.

Do any of the D1 Dakota schools have the names on back? I've never really paid any attention to it.

Years ago I had someone tell me it's the name on the front of the jersey that's important. That's the rationale behind no player names. Not saying I agree or disagree, just throwing that out. Discuss.

Overall it was a great game but apparently the new regime has retained the Bubba hallmark of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. I didn't see the end because my stream failed so I can't really comment further. It was fun seeing Klieman on the ropes.
