Sioux-cia
Queen - We Will Rock You. The most oft played song during Phats' PeeWee and Bantam traveling hockey years!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBUJztI884M&NR=
82SiouxGuy
I could never figure out the actual name of this group. Of course it's Hamilton, Joe Frank and Reynolds. I always thought the group was a foursome. Why would the name of a trio use the last names of 2 of the members and the double first name of the 3rd guy? dagies
We should have an '80's thread so I can link the "thread" Police. We're looking for Band names alphabetically. Makes it more challenging.

dagies
I plan on keeping this thread living all summer (even if I end up talking to myself, which is highly likely). Welcome to Shawn-O's 70's A to Z! "A" was for Ace, "How Long" (see prior posts). Moving to the B's, this was a tough letter, lot's to pick from. I going with Blood Sweat & Tears. David Clayton-Thomas, one of the all-time great voices in rock. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OV5ODj2UPFw You're right, Fetch, it is your thread. I was just staying in Shawn-O's theme here. It's why people at work call me "anal". (I almost started looking for songs starting with U myself because I couldn't come up with a band name!) Shawn-O
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KeymZqkUGJ0 Witchy Woman - Eagles 1973 This one put Blondie on the map: X Offender http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-Offender The song didn't chart but Chrysalis heard it with the Blondie album and signed the band. Siouxmama
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIVi7KY_WJ8 Yes - Roundabout I think that was from the 70's.
Shawn-O
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIVi7KY_WJ8 Yes - Roundabout I think that was from the 70's. Peaked at #13 on Billboard Top 40 on 3/4/72. They wouldn't chart again for eleven years, hitting #1 with "Owner of a Lonely Heart". Yes, I'm cheating with the Billboard book.
