UMD over SCSU in 3- UMD has under achieved big time this year,But with Niskanen at the point and Raymond upfront the firepower is there. UND over Mankato in 2- Morin is a load, but the sioux are hot. Mankato can always steal a game with a player like Morin. Wisc over DU in 3- Wisconsin is just a better team. They have better forwards (Skille, Carlson, Joudrey, Dowell), better defensman (Likens, Mcbain, Dreiwiske) and better goaltending. DU has some good YOUNG talent (Trotter , Rhakshani, Rueggsegar) but they are a year away from making a run. CC over MTU in 2- Scotty McCulloch to have a big series. I remember saying at the begining of the season that the big question mark was the goaltending in Minnesota. I remember Gopher fans saying that Briggs was far supperior to anything UND has. Hum!!! Where are those people now? Beating up on patsies at the beginning of the season to over inflate your gaa and save percentage does nothing when you play the big boys. It would be like UND having to travel to an arena more than a mile west of the Grand Forks International Airport to play a game. That has to be hard on the team to make that trip every year. You're way off. Think about it, they have to cross a river and go into an entirely different city. The Seawolves will be called for every infraction so the league can assure it's so called percieved top draw will make the big tourney. Look for DU to be called for everything too this next weekend.
