How was the video last night? Did it have audio with it, too, or was the audio a seperate feed like it is for basketball?

It's pretty good video. Some people said that playing it in full screen made it grainy. I have a pretty high-tech video card, so my full screen was pretty good. Sweeney and Brehdal announced the game, so audio was up.

Last night I had the audio with the video. It was great except TH and the radio feed were about 10 seconds behind the play.

I hope the video feed is working tonight. From past experiences I would assume we are going to be stuck with the Mankato radio feed. The opposing teams feed never seem to fail.

Video is coming in clear as day. No TH on the radio feed though!!

Sometimes I don't think we realize how spoiled we are that we get video feeds of all hockey, and now basketball, games. Even when it was just streaming audio, it's still so much more than most schools.

Where we are pretty spoiled, it is 2007 and computers run society, so the other schools should be catching up with us relatively quickly. 5 years from now, it will probably look just like on television, via the internet, and we'll look back on how "bad" it used to be!

Not to turn this too technical, but the video quality can only be as good as the network infrastructure, which, sadly, won't be good enough for internet streaming video until everything get's a massive upgrade.

But you're right. For the size of the university, and the quality of the athletic programs, it should be expected to get this type of treatment, but that doesn't mean we should take it for granted.

Not that I'm a betting man (unless I'm in Vegas or any location with a casino  ), but I'm betting the massive upgrades occur within 5 years!

Oh, we're on the air!!!
