Bison Dan
Mike Jacobs' purpose seems to be increasingly focused merely on pot-stirring. He offers little in the way of factual information to support his claims, and worse, posits no constructive solutions to the "problems" he, with his omniscient powers, gleans on campus or in the community. That may be but like him or not he's well connected on the UND campus. He's one of UND's biggest fans and for him to even hint of anything negative on campus is out of character. hermit
The campus is divided and many departments are also divided. It is like a big middle school out there.
ScottM
The campus is divided and many departments are also divided. It is like a big middle school out there. Which is the way it has been in many respects for decades, just like any other university where you have factions competing for money, buildings, resources, etc. As for Mr. Jacobs, has he finally cut off that ridiculous pony tail? God knows his writing is still steeped in Woodstock.

I wouldn't say that it is bad as you seem to make it out to be.
