dagies Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 We gave AA way too much at the end of that period. Hopefully we can come out and establish control at the start of the new period. Quote

PCM Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 We're having some fun now! Of course, I had to avert my eyes for the fight. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 What's the score? j/k Great period by the Sioux. Since we've scored 2 goals in the 1st and 2nd that means we should end the game 6-0 right? Quote
brianvf Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Tech just beat BSU 3-2 to sweep their series with the Beavers. Hopefully the Sioux can do the same next weekend. Quote

Smoggy Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Tech just beat BSU 3-2 to sweep their series with the Beavers. Hopefully the Sioux can do the same next weekend. That one is surprising. Wasn't BSU riding a sizeable winning streak? Quote
siouxguyinstpaul Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Thanks! : I'm stuck at work, no internet radio due to the firewalls... me too - but our firewalls must not be as good as yours as at least I have net-radio - thank god Quote
AZSIOUX Posted January 14, 2007 Author Posted January 14, 2007 Did you see what preceded the fight? this was a easy one o see it was coming from last night after the game, kaip was throwing down no matter what Quote
Smoggy Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 booooooooooooooo yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy whateverrrrrrrrrrrr I cheer for them to lose, but it's better for the Sioux if the evil ones win. Quote
siouxguyinstpaul Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 booooooooooooooo yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy whateverrrrrrrrrrrr I kind of agree - but wouldn't a Badger loss benefit us more than a goof one? Quote
AZSIOUX Posted January 14, 2007 Author Posted January 14, 2007 That one is surprising. Wasn't BSU riding a sizeable winning streak? they lost 1 at cc but they did win like 10 of 11 or something like that, that puts them at 5-3 vs the wcha with the sioux left Quote
brianvf Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 That one is surprising. Wasn't BSU riding a sizeable winning streak? Yes they were. But they play in the CHA. Seriously, I was surprised by the Tech sweep, as BSU has done very well against WCHA opponents up until this weekend. Quote
PCM Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Did you see what preceded the fight? I was watching Fabian and a Seapup going at each other in front of the UAA goal. Then I heard a roar from the crowd and saw that Kaip and Anderson had dropped their gloves. What they were doing before that, I have no idea. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 That one is surprising. Wasn't BSU riding a sizeable winning streak? They did have a 10 game unbeaten streak I believe but it was snapped already by losing to Colorado College 5-3. Still though they will be a tough team to beat. I wonder if the people in Bemidji are gonna do the "Oshie Sucks" chant while T.J. gets a hat trick there . Quote
Smoggy Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 this was a easy one o see it was coming from last night after the game, kaip was throwing down no matter what A few scrums early in the game and Kaip was in them all. Also in the pregame words were exchanged. I hear from a source in the arena that it was Radke talking to the ref when Lawson came up and they started jawing so the other players left on the ice starting getting into it. I believe Kaip was included in that as well. Quote

Fabian has been pretty hot since getting kicked in the head. It wouldn't surprise me to see him mixing it up again tonight. Quote

Seriously, I was surprised by the Tech sweep, as BSU has done very well against WCHA opponents up until this weekend. ii dnt care if they are in the cha, they were 5-1 vs the wcha coming into tech and blew and 2-0 3rd period lead and lost tonight.. they are good and can play....if the sioux are not ready friday at the glass we will get beat, thats not going to happen but dont overlook the mighty BEAVERS Quote
