PCM
Minnesota just can't move the ball on the ground against NDSU's defense. Gophers kick a 31-yard field goal after the fumbled punt return to tie it 3-3.
PCM
Great kickoff return for NDSU. The Bison don't know that they're the underdogs.
dakotadan
The bison offense is having no problems so far today. Just some unlucky turnovers. They are just walking it down the field. Knocking on the door right now.
PCM
NDSU scores a TD, but it comes back on a tripping penalty.
PCM
Bison hit a 40-yard field goal to go up 6-3 in the second quarter.
PCM
NDSU sacks Gopher QB to end a scoring threat. Minnesota's kicker misses another field goal. Still 6-3 NDSU late in the second quarter.

jimdahl
Haven't seen any of this game (not on national t.v., not surprisingly) or followed it, but just peeked at the score and stats a couple minutes before the half. Based on stats alone, looks like they're playing pretty even (Minn 128 yds off., NoDakSt 131), except NDSU has 2 turnovers to Minn's 0, and Minn has missed two FGs. You still have to think Minnesota is the favorite as it looks like NDSU is somewhat lucky to be up 6-3, but they're certainly not being dramatically outplayed so could realistically hold on unless Minnesota gets its act together. Let'sGoHawks!
I can't force myself to say "GO North Dakota State", but I am saying, "GO State of North Dakota!"
Diggler
That's where the stats lie. The Gophers are lucky to only be down 3. The Bison have kicked their butts. The only reason the Gophers have scored was because the Bison fumbled a punt.
HockeyMom
I feel like I'm going to throw up, as much as I know it will be good for all of North Dakota for the Bison to win......watching this game makes my stomach churn.
7>4
A Gopher loss, no matter the sport, is ALWAYS a good thing. Go NORTH DAKOTA state.
PCM
I just can't get over how listless the Gophers look. They apear to have given up on their coach and the season. Unbelievable.
Gothmog
I just can't get over how listless the Gophers look. They apear to have given up on their coach and the season. Unbelievable. Listless? They're just getting their butts kicked. Things could turn around in the second half, but, so far, this is total physical domination by the Bison! bertibm
I am a Gopher Fan, but I want them to lose. I want Mason Fired. If they do lose I home the fire him right after the game. Also if they lose, I want to hear how Sid kisses up to Mason
Sioux_Yeah_Yeah
This is kinda a boring game as it's so low scoring.... But I love watching it!!! If that makes any sense lol FEEL THE THUNDER!!! GO BISON!!! (I am highly anti-Minnesota!)

jimdahl
This is kinda a boring game as it's so low scoring.... Q. What happens when the worst Big Ten team in years (sorry Northwestern) plays a top I-AA? A. Apparently nothing. Definitely feels like anyone who gets a touchdown will have amassed an insurmountable lead. The teams are a combined 3/6 on FG attempts; NDSU is 0/3 in the red zone with 2 FGs; Minnesota has never been in the red zone.
PCM
Listless? Yes, listless, in my opinion. That's taking nothing away from Bison because they're playing a great game. But Minnesota should be playing like a team possessed, and they look to be sleepwalking their way through this game.
PCM
Minnesota takes a 10-6 lead with about 10:30 left in the fourth quarter.
