Who's got a good crystal ball for the final for tomorrow's game between the Fighting Sioux of North Dakota U. and the Mighty Mavericks of Minnesota State University @ Mankato ...

This is a friendly competition ... so please ... no wagering! ...

I hope it's not an ass-kicking in either direction. I'm up for 60 minutes of edge-of-the seat, nail-biting hockey.

As much as I love the Mavs, I picked the Sioux in three before this started. We've got the three; I'm still hoping for an upset though. How soon before Oshie goes pro, by the way?

My father and I attended that game. I almost felt sorry for the Mavs. I said almost.

I say Sioux go ahead 2-0 early.....and win by at least three.

All Mankato can do is try to antogonize the Sioux near the end and try to get UND players to fight. Which they won't.

Let's hope those leg checks to knees don't put another Sioux out for the season. Does Jutting give his players opponent stat sheets and tell them to go out and take them out of the game? Stafford, Zajac, Oshie, and Toews have all been the recipient of atttempts to injure this weekend. And Jutting complains about officiating

I was there too (drove back to the Cities after the game to work on Monday AM).

That night, the Sioux played with a kind of vengeance and intensity that was off the scale (66 shots on goal, and they kept at it for the full 60 minutes) even by their standards.

I'd like nothing better than to see tonight's Sioux Bring It Hard for a full 60. Win or lose, play the game with desperation. There may not be a tomorrow.

Well, I like where you are going with this, but here's one small difference "North Dakota (31-4-2 Overall, 24-2-2 WCHA)"

Still, I'm keeping the faith. Right now I'd rather be the Sioux than Mankato, and I couldn't say that prior to last night's game.

i picked sioux by 3. i think we come out flying and put this one away early for no reason other than they want to make a statement. jpar has another great game.

in other news....GO BEMIDJI STATE being my home town and also by winning their tourney can only help the sioux in the pairwise i believe..their game is at 3:05 et.

I just went on the CSTV website and it doesn't say anything about carrying the game, are you sure, where did you hear this?

hopefully it will just be on, just wait a half hour and hope. i heard over on thebeaverpond.com that it was on cstv as well..

Now BSU is a TUC correct? That adds 2 TUC wins to our PWR and should giv eus the PWR against Denver, Maine and Michigan, correct? A loss by CC and a win by us tonight will add CC to that list, giving us 4 additional PWR. This is accurate correct?

we win the comparisons over Mich with sioux w tonight. with a sioux w and a cc loss, we can over-take them as well.
