Siouxdonyms Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 from what I have heard Oshie will not play this weekend and Parise was run into in practice and may have suffered concussion Practicing in live game mode I guess. Had to run Parise to get him ready for the actual games. Quote
Goon Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Practicing in live game mode I guess. Had to run Parise to get him ready for the actual games. I think our goalies have set a record of being run over in games by the opposition. Quote
sprig Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Is the Sioux audio really noisy for anyone else? Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Not very noisy, but it's dropping out more often than it should. Edit: I'm listening to the radio feed, 96.1 Quote
PCM Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 In the pre-game report, Hennessy said that Lamoureux is wearing a new all black mask because his regular mask got dinged. It sounds like Philippe is starting. Quote

PCM Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I turned it on while Dave was talking, did he say anything about Parise, or did you miss his interview? I didn't hear anything about Parise, but the way the audio was cutting in and out, I might have missed something. Quote
PCM Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Guess all of you in/near GF are listening to radio, rather than this horrible streaming audio. The radio feed has been in and out, too, which may be why the Internet feed isn't so hot. Quote
Tsiouxnami Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Guess all of you in/near GF are listening to radio, rather than this horrible streaming audio. I am listening to the streaming audio and have not had any problems thus far. (I suppose now that I said that. . . . .) Quote
Smoggy Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Is the Sioux audio really noisy for anyone else? It's bad for me. Looks like I'll be switching to UAA feed. Anyone find a link to a free webcast? Quote
PCM Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 In the pre-game injury report, Hennessy said Oshie had a muscle spasm in his back or shoulder area, but he will play. Towes is banged up a bit, but they don't know if he's playing tonight. No mention of any problem with Parise. Quote

fs1 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 my report on oshie was from late last night, maybe have stayed at a holiday in express last night! Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Wonderful audio we have tonight. Clear Channel Radio my A#! Quote
PCM Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Don't believe UAA is showing live webcasts any longer. The word on the USCHO forum was that because the UAA games are no longer being broadcast live, there will be no live Webcast. That's too bad because they do a great job with their Webcasts and they're free. Quote
dallassiouxfan Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Wonderful audio we have tonight. Clear Channel Radio my A#! Why can't they get that right? It seems like every weekend the radio just sucks. Quote
PCM Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Hennessy says Toews is on the ice for warmups. Quote
PCM Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 If anyone needs the link for the UAA Internet radio feed, here it is: http://www.goseawolves.com/index.cfm?fuseAction=audiovideo Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Why can't they get that right? It seems like every weekend the radio just sucks. I don't ever recall it being as bad as it is this year. Granted, in past years, I've always been at the games in GF, but I don't recall road games being this bad. Quote
Tsiouxnami Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Parise is hurt, Walski is back up this evening. Quote

You would think a hockey program that plays in a 100 million dollar arena would have a decent webcast/radio broadcast setup. It is about as frustating as watching a hockey game on CTV Quote
PCM Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 UAA scores on the power play. Not a good start for the Sioux. Quote
