An Interesting Fun Fact: All of the Ivy league had hockey team. Columbia 1899-1912 and Penn 1898-1978

In an era where guys are playing 2-3 years in the ECHL or AHL and then coming back to play college, I'm surprised there isn't a way to play college even after you've signed your ELC. You'd think there'd be a way to sign, try and make the NHL roster, and then come back and play NCAA if you don't.

There were schools that were going to try and commit players that signed their ELC but didn’t play in the NHL, went back to the CHL.

In theory if you don't accept / defer your signing bonus I feel like they would have an argument

Western Michigan bidding their new arena. Like I said the western conferences should bid their home arenas (if they meet the criteria, like how Yost doesn’t) and the eastern conferences bid neutral sites. UND and Denver should bid their arenas since they like to host.

Personally I think UND should continue to bid Sioux Falls and Fargo, as if they don’t Western could be playing at home.  As long as there is an alternate that isn’t a home site, they will need to accept it.

Totally normal.
NCAA needs to get rid of this ECHL/AHL to NCAA loophole.

There was an interesting part about exposure toward the end of the interview (there was a weird dead time about 48 minutes in). She started to talk about how the Hockey East Commissioner and her were talking about interconference series (I'm guessing like old WCHA/Hockey East one). 

Again, the commissioners, schools, ADs and College Hockey Inc need to get the Ice Breaker and US Hockey Hall of Fame Game on TNT or ESPN. This is a long overdue to get more casual fans to watch college hockey.

Those small schools are really weird. BU doesn't have football but has a basketball team. Maybe space issues for some depending on facilities needed for sports nowadays

Space and cost typically. Penn, for example, had a D1 team for a decade and even has a rink on campus that's still in use. However, after the team was cut during financial struggles at the end of the 70's, the university has made no real effort to bring back a D1 team.
